Abstract

を評価する方法として、J I S  L 1096゜
耐水圧試験法や、撥水度試験法などが代表的な方法とし
て行なわれている。また、布帛の防風性を評価するには
、JIS  L1096、通気性試験法などの方法があ
り、透湿性の評価には、JIS20208法などがある
。さらに、布帛の防塵性の評価には、JIS  Z89
01法などが行なわれ、その他機能評価にJIS法が広
〈実施されている。しかし、これらの方法では、布帛と
しての、防水、防風、防塵、耐候などの機能は評価でき
るが、その布帛で衣服を縫製した時の衣服の機能性は全
くわからなかった。つまり、衣服では縫い目、ファスナ
ー、ポケット、ベンチレーション部などを有し、時には
別の布帛が組み込まれている。従って、布帛のみに目的
とする機能が十分備わっていても、衣服として目的とす
る機能があるとはいい難い。例えば、防水衣服では、布
帛部の防水性は十分でも、縫い目やファスナ一部より雨
が侵入してくるのである。
