Conventionally, the application roller for applying adhesive has been periodically cleaned by manually rubbing the surface of the application roller while spraying water with a hose or the like. For this reason, cleaning requires effort, and it is not possible to clean every corner uniformly.Furthermore, it is dangerous to rotate the coating roller to facilitate cleaning.

The present invention has been developed in view of the above-mentioned points, and the purpose of the present invention is to automatically perform cleaning with a spatula and discharge of cleaning liquid by simply operating the operating handle, and to do so without requiring any labor. It is an object of the present invention to provide a coating roller cleaning device that is extremely safe.

The coating roller cleaning device of the present invention has a cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2 disposed on the side of the coating roller 1 in parallel with the coating roller 1, cleaning liquid discharge ports 3 arranged longitudinally in the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2, and a cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2 disposed in parallel with the coating roller 1. A spatula 4 whose width extends from the discharge pipe 2 to the entire length of the application roller 1.
An operating handle 5 is attached to the cleaning liquid discharging pipe 2 for rotating the cleaning liquid discharging pipe 2 in order to protrude and bring the spatula 4 into contact with or away from the application roller 1, and is configured as described above. This solves the drawbacks of the conventional example. That is, by operating the operating handle 5, the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2 is rotated and the tip of the spatula 4 is applied to the coating roller 1.
The cleaning liquid is discharged from the cleaning liquid discharge port 3 at the same time as the application roller 1 is rotated, so that the cleaning can be performed automatically.

The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to examples. Reference numeral 1 denotes a roller that applies a coating material such as adhesive to an object 7 such as a panel, and continuously applies the coating material to the object 7 being conveyed between the receiving roller 6 and the application roller 1. It is applied to Reference numeral 8 denotes a coating material supply pan, which is adapted to supply a coating material to the coating roller 1. Reference numeral 2 denotes a cleaning liquid discharge pipe installed parallel to the application roller 1, and is rotatably supported by a bearing (not shown). A cleaning liquid supply hose 10 for supplying a cleaning liquid such as water is connected to the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2 via a valve 9 or the like. Application roller 1 from cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2
A spatula 4 is projected over the entire length of the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2, and cleaning liquid discharge ports 3 are arranged in a row in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2. 5 is a cleaning liquid discharge pipe 2
This is an operating handle that rotates the . When the applicator roller 1 is applying a coating material, the operating handle 5 is rotated in the direction of the arrow B, and the spatula 4 is separated from the applicator roller 1. However, when cleaning, the operating handle 5 is rotated in the direction of the arrow B. direction, the spatula 4 comes into contact with the coating roller 1 [at this time, the coating material supply pan 8
At the same time, a cleaning liquid such as water is discharged from the cleaning liquid discharge port 3, and as the coating roller 1 rotates, the surface of the coating roller 1 is cleaned by the spatula 4 and the cleaning liquid.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, by operating the operation handle, the spatula is brought into contact with the coating roller surface, the cleaning liquid is discharged from the cleaning liquid discharge port, and the coating roller surface is cleaned by rotating the coating roller. It can be cleaned automatically and does not require any effort, and it is also highly safe because the operator does not touch the application roller.
