Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled herbicide containing an active component produced by mixing bensulide and MCPA, exhibiting high herbicidal activity against all kinds of weeds including broad-leaved weeds such as shepherd's purse, etc., and having broad margin of application time. CONSTITUTION:The objective herbicide contains an active component consisting of a mixture of (A) bensulide (O,O-diisopropyl-S-(2-phenylsulfonylaminoethyl) phosphorodit-hioate) effective against gramineous weeds and (B) MCPA [(4- chloro-o-tolyloxy)acetic acid] effective also against broad-leaved weeds. It is applied either by soil-treatment or foliar treatment. Foliar treatment of weeds after sprouting is also possible. It can be used for lawn of gold link, green field of park, etc.

Problems that the Nido Invention aims to solve The above-mentioned Benslide can be safely used on Japanese grasses such as Coralysia grass, as well as Western grasses such as Bermuda grass, ryegrass, and bentgrass. An excellent lawn herbicide that is highly effective. However, although there are many different types of weeds in lawns, Benslide is considerably less effective against broad-leaved weeds such as shepherd's purse and Imenoptera (Section 1.3).
.. Figure 5), to deal with this, there was a problem that it was necessary to apply C in layers with different herbicides.

Effects of the present invention The lawn herbicide prepared by mixing Benslide and MCPA according to the present invention has a d3 effect on foliage and soil treatment.
C also exhibited a synergistic effect due to the combination of both disputants. In other words, the above-mentioned problem with Benslide, which is that it is less effective in dealing with broad-leaved weeds such as shepherd's purse and dogfish, has been solved, and its weeding ability against all kinds of weeds has been greatly improved, and the herbicidal spectrum has been significantly expanded. It has become possible to deal with all types of weeds using only the herbicide of the present invention. In addition, the range of appropriate treatment periods has been expanded, making it possible to treat the shoots and leaves of weeds as soon as they germinate. One of the reasons for this excellent effect is
This is thought to be because the solvent in Bensuride facilitates the absorption of MCPA into the plant body, making it easier to express the synergistic effect within the plant body.
