[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the conventional method, the knitting yarn supporting means is constituted by a fork-shaped member rotatably supported on a bracket, and the fork-shaped member is A structure is adopted in which the bracket is provided with a wire member having an inverted V-shaped thread guide portion to prevent the traveling knitting yarn from coming off the fork-like member.
The knitting yarn guide support structure has a large number of parts, and requires many man-hours for processing and assembly, resulting in high costs.
Moreover, when setting the knitting yarn, there is a drawback that a troublesome operation of passing the knitting yarn through the inverted V-shaped yarn guide section is involved.

The yarn breakage sensing device B will be explained below. In the figure, reference numerals 22 and 23 are a pair of left and right support boxes made of synthetic resin material, which are butted against each other and connected with screws 24. .
The left side surface of the left support box 22 has a groove 25 in the middle, protrudes to the left side, and has a locking hole 8A of the locking piece 8.
Two-pronged locking pieces 26 and 27 that can be fitted are provided on the rear side surface of the rear side locking piece 27, and a locking step portion 27A that can be engaged with the locking surface 8B of the locking hole 8A. is formed, and a notch groove 28 is formed on the lower front side,
Furthermore, a switch support piece 29 is provided on the upper inner surface. The right support box 23 also has an upper base leg 30 of a rotating member 30 formed by bending a round bar into a substantially U-shape.
A is rotatably supported around an axis in the left and right direction, and a cutout groove 31 is provided at the lower front surface, and a switch holding piece 32 is further provided at the upper inner surface. Reference numeral 33 indicates the switch support piece 29 and the switch presser piece 32 inside the support boxes 22 and 23.
This is a normally closed switch that is clamped and fixed between the knitting machine main body side and the carriage operating circuit.
4, whose upper part is fixed to the front surface and whose lower free end is connected to the notched grooves 28, 31.
A switch actuating member 35 made of a leaf spring is provided which projects diagonally forward and downward to the position . The switch operating member 35 is normally placed in an inactive position in which it does not act on the switch 33, and operates the switch 32 by bending backward against its own elasticity.

本実施例は上述した如く構成される。 This embodiment is configured as described above.

When preparing the tensioning device from the stored state, support the tensioning device A at the upper end of the support column 1 erected on the rear upper surface of the knitting machine main body, and insert the tensioning device A into the locking hole 8A of the locking piece 8. By fitting the bifurcated locking pieces 26 and 27 of the thread breakage sensing device B, once the rear side locking piece 27 is slightly bent toward the front side locking piece 26 against its own elasticity. , the locking stepped portion 27A engages with the locking surface 8B of the locking hole 8A, whereby the yarn breakage sensing device B is fixedly supported.

Thus, the knitting yarn T drawn out from the yarn source is stretched over the tension applying device A as described above, and the knitting yarn portion lying on the gap 19 between the pair of knitting yarn support pieces 17 and 18 is On the free end 3 of the pivot member 30
Place 0B. In this case, to set the knitting yarn T, it is sufficient to simply place the knitting yarn T from above the knitting yarn support pieces 17, 18.
Its operation is extremely simple, and once it is set, it is confined between the extension part 15 of the yarn guide plate 14 and the yarn regulating piece 20, so that it cannot come off from the knitting yarn supporting pieces 17, 18 to the outside. Along with the lack of

During this knitting process, for example, knots or tangled parts of the knitting yarn T may get caught on the intermediate yarn guide wire 3, etc., and the knitting yarn T may be cut or lost. A pair of knitting yarn support pieces 17,

is moved from the inactive position shown by the solid line to the switch operative position shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3, and the switch 33 is turned off. This action takes place virtually instantaneously. This causes the motor to stop and the carriage to stop automatically.

Note that during knitting, for example, the carriage may be largely slid to the side of the needle bed or to the outside of the needle bed, or the knitting yarn T

If the free end 3 of the rotating member 30 becomes extremely loose,
0B pivots downwardly as shown in FIG. 7, but its free end 30B remains in the position shown in FIG. 7 or a slightly more downwardly pivoted position. Therefore, the switch actuating member 35 is actuated to turn the switch 3
3 is OFF, it will never work. Even if the free end portion 30B is rotated to a position where it comes into contact with the switch actuating member 35, the resistance of the knitting yarn applied thereto is acting on the free end portion 30B, and the switch actuating member 35 has its own elasticity. Since the switch actuating member 35 is placed in the inactive position by the switch actuator 35, the switch actuating member 35 cannot be actuated.

In addition, since the pair of knitting yarn support pieces 17 and 18 are arranged close to each other and the gap 19 between them is set small, even if the knitting yarn T is slightly loosened,
The free end 30B of the pivoting member 30 remains in the generally upward position. It is part of gap 19,
This is because a frictional contact action between the knitting yarn T and the inner edge of each knitting yarn support piece 17, 18 and a resistance action that withstands bending of the knitting yarn T occur, and these actions cause the free end portion 30B to knit. It is supported on the thread T. In this case, the narrower the gap 19, that is, the closer it is to the diameter of the free end 30B, the more reliable the support becomes. This action is particularly effective when the rotating member 30
Since no tension is applied in the direction of switch operation, this is done more reliably and there is no problem with subsequent knitting. If tension is applied, even if the knitting yarn T is slightly loosened, the rotating member 30 will rotate downward, and here the knitting yarn T will be rotated downward.
will be spread over in a zigzag pattern, and during subsequent knitting, more tension than necessary will be temporarily applied to the knitting yarn T, which may cause the tension to become uneven and cause problems in knitting. .

As described in detail above, the present invention is directed to a yarn breakage sensing device that includes a switch, a rotating member, and a knitting yarn support means, and in particular, the present invention is directed to a yarn breakage sensing device that includes a switch, a rotating member, and a knitting yarn support means. and a yarn guide plate extending in the running direction of the knitting yarn, and projecting horizontally from the lower edge of one side of the yarn guide plate in the vicinity of both sides of the free end of the rotating member, respectively. A pair of knitting yarn support pieces are integrally bent, and a yarn regulating piece that projects upward is integrally formed at the protruding end of each knitting yarn support piece.

Therefore, a yarn guide plate in which the pair of knitting yarn supporting pieces and the yarn regulating piece are integrally bent is adopted as the knitting yarn guiding means at the location where the free end portion of the rotating member is disposed. The configuration can be significantly simplified, and it can be manufactured extremely easily and at low cost. Furthermore, when setting the knitting yarn at this location, the knitting yarn need only be placed on the knitting yarn support piece from above, so the operation is extremely simple. Since the knitting yarn is trapped between the yarn guide plate and the yarn regulating piece, the knitting yarn will not accidentally escape from the knitting yarn supporting piece to the outside, and the free end of the rotating member will be placed on the knitting yarn. This provides excellent effects such as being able to securely place the parts.
