A conventional and common method is to adhere resin molded products with double-sided adhesive tape. However, since this method uses a resin molded product, it is disadvantageous in terms of cost.

This splitting phenomenon is particularly likely to occur when high-pressure water is sprayed during car washing.

However, in order to use it for emblems, it is necessary to use a relatively thick base material of 0.5 to 1 mm, and the proportion of polypropylene elastomer in the base material is 7 to 1 mm.
Since it is as high as 80%, a large amount of expensive polypropylene-based elastomer is used, which poses a problem in that the cost is higher than when a soft polyvinyl chloride sheet is used as the base material.

is a base material made of a blend of polyvinyl chloride and a thermoplastic elastomer, on one side of which a print 3 is applied, and the print 3 is protected by a top coat layer 4. A pressure sensitive adhesive layer 5 is provided on the other surface of the base material 1. The intermediate layer of the base material 1 except for the interface layer with the printing 3 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 is foamed to form a foamed layer 2.

There is no risk of it migrating into the agent layer and impairing adhesion.
Therefore, when used as automobile emblems, etc., there is no risk of splitting during car washing.

量を低減でき、コストの低下が図られている。 Furthermore, since the intermediate layer 2 in the base material 1 is foamed, it is possible to use an expensive thermoplastic elastomer such as a polypropylene elastomer, compared to the case where a conventional blend of polyvinyl chloride and a polypropylene elastomer is simply used as is. The amount can be reduced and costs can be lowered.

Thermoplastic elastomers include polypropylene elastomers, which are copolymers of polypropylene and polyethylene, EPR, etc., polyester elastomers, which are copolymers of polyester and polyether, and copolymers of polystyrene, polyethylene, polybutadiene, etc. Examples include polystyrene elastomers. The mixing ratio of polyvinyl chloride and thermoplastic elastomer is preferably in the range of 2:8 to 3:7 by weight. If the proportion of polyvinyl chloride is less than the above range, poor adhesion with the pressure sensitive adhesive layer 5 may occur in non-adhesive elastomers such as polypropylene elastomers, and if it is greater than the above range, plasticizer migration may occur. There is a risk of causing poor adhesion and splitting phenomenon.

In this case, since the interface layer is smooth, the adhesion between the printing 3 and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 is good. Foaming of only the intermediate layer 2 is achieved by controlling the temperature of the roll surface to a low level during rolling into a sheet to form a non-foamed layer on the surface. The foaming ratio of the intermediate layer 2 is usually 2 to 3 times. The thickness of the base material 1 is usually about 0.5 to 1 mm.
