Detailed Description of the Invention (Object of the Invention) The present invention relates to a novel structure of a brace member mainly used in wooden buildings, and relates to a brace member with an inexpensive structure that is advantageous in handling workability. This is what we are trying to provide.

(Prior Art) In buildings with frame structures, braces are structurally extremely important members, and the minimum amount of braces used is strictly regulated depending on the scale of the frame structure. However, unlike other frame members, it is used as a diagonal member, which makes processing and construction extremely complicated, so it would be better if it could be used as little as possible. However, there is a tendency to try to perform with the minimum amount of energy used, and it can be said that the situation is not necessarily favorable in terms of structural strength.

Furthermore, even if the amount of wood used is kept to a minimum, in the current wooden buildings, it is difficult to process the wood depending on the location where the braces are installed. Compared to that, it is much more complicated, and there are reports that many craftsmen have been injured during the processing process.

Therefore, in order to eliminate these conventional inconveniences, the applicant of the present application has already developed and proposed a brace member with a new structure using reinforcing bars, for example, as in the invention of Japanese Patent Application No. 61-69372. It has also been successfully put into practical use.

This differs from previous models that used reinforcing bars with turnbuckles, and there is little risk of the reinforcing bars protruding outward from the surface of the columns and studs, and it has a structure that is easy to work on site. However, when a pair of brace members are crossed and used in an X-shape, there is a concern that some inconvenience may occur due to ease of use.

(Structure of the Invention) As is clearly understood from the representative embodiment of the present invention shown in the drawings, the brace member of the present invention is made of a pair of reinforcing bars 1°1' having an appropriate thickness and length. Inside, one of the reinforcing bars 1 is cut into parts by cutting approximately the center part thereof, and approximately the reinforcing bars 1 are cut into sections.
At the same time, a predetermined width of one end of the metal plate is attached to one end side of each of the pair of reinforcing bars 1, 1'. A piece 21 is bent approximately at right angles to the back side according to a folding line inclined at a predetermined angle θ with respect to the longitudinal side edge of the plate, and the side bent to a predetermined width is latched.
The remaining part is used as the fixed piece 22, and at least the fixed piece 2
2, the back surface of the fixing piece 22 of the L-shaped metal bending fixing plate 2, which has nailing holes 23, 23, and port insertion holes 24 formed therein, is integrated at the required locations of 2, and each of the reinforcing bars 1° The other end of 1- is a simple flat metal plate, with nailing holes 33, 33...
. . . and the back surface of a flat metal fixing plate 3 formed with bolt insertion holes 34 are integrated as appropriate.

The thin iron plate piece 11 attached to the part of the reinforcing bar 1 on the side that is parted from approximately the center of the pair of reinforcing bars 1, 1- is approximately the same as the part of the reinforcing bar 1a, 1a. It is the thickness of the reinforcing bars 1. It is connected and integrated by separating the reinforcing bars 1a and 1a, and the reinforcing bars 1a and 1a are firmly integrated by welding or other means to provide sufficient tensile strength. It must be something that can be demonstrated. Moreover, the location must be exactly opposite to the location where the L-shaped metal fixing plate 2 or flat metal fixing plate 3, which will be described later, is fixed, that is, the exact back side when viewed from the reinforcing bars 1a, 1a.

The L-shaped metal fixing plate 2 is formed by bending a flat metal plate so as to form an inverted L-shape in the side profile, and the side that is bent over a predetermined width on one end is the latching piece 2.
1. The remaining part is the fixed piece 22.
The bending point of the latching piece 21 is a bending line inclined at a predetermined angle to the vertical side edge of the metal plate, that is, an angle θ equal to the angle formed by the brace and the girder or beam at the location where the brace is installed. The section must be in accordance with the above.

In addition, nail holes 26°26 are formed at important points on the latch piece 21.
However, the latching piece 21 itself is attached to the top of the beam or girder 4 in order to make it possible for workers to manually work on the brace member of the present invention at the stage of installing the brace member. This nailing hole 23 can be omitted in some cases since it mainly serves the function of temporary fixing by hooking it on the end face, but from the viewpoint of increasing the overall fixing strength of the member, this nailing hole 23 , 23... can be said to be preferably formed as much as possible.

In addition, in the illustrated example, the sheath tube 31 is formed to have a hollow portion with the same diameter from top to bottom, but if the arrangement angle of the entire brace member is to be made changeable, The hollow portion of the sheath tube 31 may also have a truncated conical hollow portion. However, when adopting this configuration, a fixing structure that can change the angle as appropriate is not required to be formed not only on the flat metal fixing plate 3 side having the length adjustment structure but also on the L-shaped metal fixing plate 2 side. Needless to say.

(Operation and Effect) The brace member of the present invention having the above-described configuration includes a pair of reinforcing bars 1.1', one in which a thin iron plate piece 11 is combined with the partial reinforcing bars 1a and 1a, and the other in which the reinforcing bars 1.1' are not combined. Each can be used independently, and when both are combined and crossed in an X-shape, the other reinforcing bar 1' fits into the gap between the partial reinforcing bars 1a and 1a, and the reinforcing bar 1 It has the great feature that the layers 1' do not overlap, and there is no risk of any hindrance to the subsequent work of forming the base.

Of course, even if any one of the pair of reinforcing bars 1.1' is used as a single brace member, each of the fixing members 2 and 3 is attached to the surface side of both ends of the reinforcing bars 1 and 1. Since it uses a fixed structure, only the thickness of each fixed plate 2 and 3 needs to protrude from the column surface to fit neatly, and the installation of the base material, etc. that must be installed at that time is easy. Needless to say, this has the advantage of not causing any structural disadvantage.

The pair of reinforcing bars 1.1' may have an L-shaped metal fixing plate 2 and a flat metal fixing plate 3 integrated at both ends, or may have flat metal fixing plates 3.3 at both ends. Either an integrated version or one in which each of the fixing plates 2.3 consists of a large plate is provided as a ready-made member, and it is easy to handle it on site as well as to install it at the brace installation location. This method is far more advantageous than conventional braces in terms of ease of construction work.

In particular, in the case where the L-shaped metal fixing plate 2 is adopted as the fixing plate, the effect that the latching piece 21 enables the worker to form the braces by himself is effective in improving the efficiency of construction. It can be said that it is very useful, and if the fixing plates 2 and 3 are made of large plates, the installation of braces can directly lead to strengthening of the joint, which is a feature in terms of structural strength.
