DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the development of a conventional slug for capacitor cases by punching an aluminum flat plate. The purpose of this invention is to use an aluminum wire rod, cut it to an appropriate length, and then cut it to an appropriate length. Through several processing steps, we create a slug that does not produce burrs or uneven thickness as a capacitor case, and by extruding this slug, we can efficiently mass-produce excellent capacitor cases with good uniformity and yield, and provide them at low cost. It is something to do.

That is, to explain an example of the manufacturing process using drawings, an aluminum wire 1 is selected according to the capacity of the case, and as shown in Fig. 1, it is cut to an appropriate size to provide the required piece 2, and this piece 2 is As shown in Figure A, as a first step, the piece was placed in a die 3 and punched from above using a punching jig 4 whose lower end was shaped into a cone shape to form a cone-shaped recess on the top surface of the piece as shown in cross-sectional view A. piece, and use this as the second piece.
As a process, this piece is placed in a die 5 whose circumferential side is inclined outward as shown in Fig. B, and a corresponding punch jig 6 whose bottom surface is recessed on the inside opposite to the die shape is inserted from above.
Then, in the third step, the piece 2' is put into a die 7 as shown in Fig. C, and a punching jig whose bottom surface is inclined to a small diameter protrudes from above. 8 as shown in Figure D to obtain a slug S in which the piece 2' is shaped like a dish with a cross section of 2''.

As described above, the present invention selects the aluminum wire 1 according to the dimensions of the capacitor case, cuts it to the required size to form a certain piece 2, and in the first step, this piece is cut as shown in cross-sectional view a. Shape into cone-shaped pieces. This is one of the features of the present invention, and this processing brings about good results in subsequent processing as a capacitor case, and ideally an ideal case without burrs or uneven thickness can be obtained. be. On the other hand, there are wire rods, but if the top surface of the cut piece is extruded without any processing without any processing as in the present invention, there will be burrs and uneven thickness when molded into a case. It is easy to produce, that is, there is no uniformity, and the yield is also poor, so mass production cannot be expected. However, in the present invention, as described above, the surface of the cut piece is indented in the shape of a cone in the first step, so that the subsequent punching in the second and third steps is carried out very smoothly in accordance with the shape of the piece. Therefore, the finish of the case by the subsequent extrusion process is extremely good, and a condenser case without burrs or uneven thickness can be obtained with high efficiency and mass production, resulting in cost reduction.

In the past, slugs for capacitors were purchased from other sources, but they were relatively expensive and there were no excellent products available. However, in the present invention, slugs that are easy to process into high-quality cases at our own factory can be used as plate materials with poor yields. Instead, it can be mass-produced using wire rods that do not generate scrap, which is extremely advantageous for a capacitor case production factory.
