【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はエンジンのシリンダヘツドに設けられ
た給油路にオイルパイプを液密に接続するための
エンジンのオイルパイプ接続装置に関する。

に示すように周側面に放射方向に向けてオイルパ
イプ2の一端をろう付け等で液密に接続固定した
アイジヨイント3と、L字形の油路4を内部に穿
設した接続ボルト5とからなる接続部材1を備
え、この接続ボルト5をシールワツシヤ6を介し
て前記アイジヨイント3に挿通すると共に、該ア
イジヨイント3より外方に延出した前記接続ボル
ト5の雄ねじを、シリンダヘツド7に設けた給油
路8の一端の接続口9の内周面の雌ねじに螺合す
ることにより、前記接続部材1を介して前記オイ
ルパイプ2の一端を前記給油路8の一端に液密に
接続している。このような従来のオイルパイプ接
続装置では接続部材1がアイジヨイント3と接続
ボルト5とから成るため、部品点数が多くなると
共に、シリンダヘツド7の接続口9の内周面に雌
ねじを加工する作業が必要となる。また、該雌ね
じの加工時にバリやカエリが生じ易く、この除去
に余分な工数を要し、生産コストを上昇させる一
因となつている。

ンダヘツドカバー17が装着されている。前記シ
リンダヘツド11には、第3図に示すように給油
路14が設けられ、該給油路14の一端は、前記
シリンダヘツド11のシリンダヘツドカバー装着
面に開口している。該給油路14の一端接続口1
5にはオイルパイプ13の一端が、本発明のオイ
ルパイプ接続装置によつて液密に接続され、該オ
イルパイプ13の他端側は図示しないオイルポン
プに接続されている。そして、オイルタンク(図
示せず)からオイルポンプによりオイルパイプ1
3を介して給油路14に供給された潤滑油は、カ
ムシヤフト6の軸受部、その他の潤滑すべき部分
を潤滑するようになつている。

間に、前記フランジ部を挾着固定し得るようにし
