The cleaning device U having the configuration shown in FIG. 4 can clean the outer wall surface C by spraying the cleaning liquid 35 on the outer wall surface C in advance and wiping it off with a cleaning cloth 27 during cleaning. It can also remove stains on the exterior wall surface C that cannot be removed by simply wiping with a cloth. Incidentally, the cleaning cloth 27 that has been wiped clean to remove dirt from the outer wall surface C is penetrated by the cleaning liquid containing the dirt from the outer wall surface C, but this dirty cleaning liquid is absorbed by the first drive roller 22 and the third drive roller 29. It is removed by pinching the cleaning cloth 27 and squeezing it out.

Note that the cleaning cloth 27 containing the cleaning liquid 40 that has become dirty after cleaning the outer wall surface C is cleaned with the cleaning liquid 40 in the cleaning liquid PfI 41, and is removed with the cleaning cloth 27 from which dirt has been removed in order to wipe and clean the outer wall surface C again. This has the effect of cleaning the wall surface C. Further, the excess cleaning liquid 40 soaked into the cleaning cloth 27 can be squeezed out by guide rollers 42.43 and 43.44 which sandwich the cleaning cloth 27, and returned to the cleaning liquid tank 41. Furthermore, if the degree of dirt on the cleaning cloth 27 is large, the cleaning liquid tank 4I is vibrated with ultrasonic waves to clean the cleaning cloth 27.
It is also possible to remove dirt from the cleaning cloth 27 by washing it with the cleaning liquid 40.

``Effects of the Invention'' As explained above, the present invention uses a machine that presses a cleaning cloth against an external wall surface using a pressing mechanism, rotates the cleaning cloth using a drive roller, and wipes and cleans the external wall surface without relying on human power. This has the effect of automatically cleaning the outer wall surface. Therefore, safety is improved in the cleaning work of the outer wall surface, which has conventionally been carried out manually by workers using dust cloths and mops. Moreover, by attaching the cleaning device to the cleaning machine, there is an effect that the cleaning work on the outer wall surface can be carried out without being influenced by the weather or the situation at the work site. Further, since the pressing mechanism presses the cleaning cloth against the outer wall surface, it is possible to thoroughly wipe and clean the outer wall surface which has some irregularities and curved parts. Furthermore, since the direction of rotation of the cleaning cloth can be adjusted in both forward and reverse directions, the cleaning effect can be improved by changing the direction in which the outer wall surface is wiped with the cleaning cloth.
