The goal is to be achieved by touch operation using a conductive needle through conductive rubber.

In this case, using a capacitance measuring device such as a CR oscillator, the equivalent capacitance seen from the touch position in the front, back, left and right directions is measured, but this equivalent capacitance is measured at the coordinate position (
touch position). That is, the charging/discharging signal period of the CR oscillator changes when a touch operation is performed, and the ratio of the amount of change when looking left and right (or front and back) indicates the coordinate position. Therefore, the coordinates can be determined by calculating the amount of change via the period measuring circuit.
