In general, electric cables used for vertical installation or installation on slopes have a tension member made by arranging a large number of tension members 2 circumferentially around the outer periphery of a cable sheath 1 and winding them horizontally, as shown in Figure 1. Input cables are known. In the figure, 3 is an insulated wire core of the cable, and 4 is an anti-corrosion layer.

The present invention was developed in response to this problem, and includes an arc-shaped contact surface that can be brought into close contact with the outer periphery of an adjacent insulated wire core in each twisting gap formed by twisting a plurality of insulated wire cores. A sector-shaped solid body made of rubber or elastic plastic with a tension member embedded therein is arranged so that the contact surface closely follows the outer periphery of the adjacent insulated wire core, so that the cross section is approximately circular. It is an object of the present invention to provide a cable including a tension member, which has a common protective coating on the outer periphery of the tension member.

This sector-shaped solid body 16 is made of plastic or rubber, etc., which has a certain degree of elasticity, such as vinyl chloride resin or polyethylene, and is hard enough not to be significantly deformed by tightening force. Depending on the number of fibers, it has an arc-shaped contact surface that can be brought into close contact with the outer periphery of adjacent insulated wire cores, and when this contact surface is placed along the outer periphery of the insulated wire core, the overall cross-section It is extruded into a predetermined fan shape that is circular. One or more tension members 18 made of, for example, steel wire (one thread is shown in the figure) are embedded in this sector-shaped solid body 16 during extrusion molding. 19 is an extrusion protective coating made of vinyl chloride resin.

When the cable with a tension member of the present invention having the above structure is installed vertically or on a slope, the fan-shaped solid body 16 at the upper end of the cable is removed to expose the tension member 18, and the cable is fixed to a predetermined anchoring device so that the cable is engaged. be stopped.

As is clear from the above explanation, in the cable with a tension member of the present invention, the cable outer diameter is increased because the tension member is embedded in a sector-shaped solid body that can fit along the twisting gap of the insulated wire core. There's nothing to do. Furthermore, since the tightening force by the tension member is applied equally to each insulated wire core through the contact surface of the sector-shaped solid body, the cable is securely fixed and the insulated wire core is prevented from being damaged by the tension member. There will be no fear.
