源として利用出来ることを示している。(Function) Xenon-filled discharge tubes are widely used as built-in flash lamps in compact cameras, and are popular as extremely compact and convenient light sources. When used for such purposes, the radiation intensity in the visible wavelength range becomes a problem. As is well known, the emission spectrum from a xenon-filled discharge tube includes a characteristic spectrum and a continuous spectrum as shown in FIG. 1, and the balance between them provides excellent color rendering properties. The above figure shows a discharge current density of 100OA/
d, but the case where the current density is increased to 310OA/d is shown in figure a. Compared to the same figure, the characteristic spectrum intensity in the long wavelength range does not increase that much, but a strong characteristic spectrum is seen in the ultraviolet range, and the continuous spectrum also becomes stronger in the short wavelength range, making it effective as a whole. This shows that it can be used as an ultraviolet light source.

装置を得ることが出来た。Effects of the Invention This invention configures an ultraviolet sterilizer using an extremely small xenon discharge tube with high radiation intensity as a light source, as described above, and therefore cannot be considered with a conventional mercury fluorescent discharge tube type light source. Irradiation sterilization is possible by inserting it into narrow spaces such as Furthermore, since the radiation intensity of ultraviolet rays from a unit volume of a xenon discharge tube is high, objects to be sterilized near the discharge tube will be locally exposed to extremely strong ultraviolet rays, sterilizing only the necessary areas in an extremely short time. I can do it. For this reason, it has been extremely difficult to sterilize the inside of footwear that is used one after another by unspecified people, down to the toes, in a short period of time, such as rental shoes for skiing, skating, and polling, and slippers for hospitals. We were able to obtain a sterilizer suitable for difficult uses.

This is what became.
