Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at safety operation and improvement in efficiency at limited manpower, by mounting a belt drum on the portal bridge installed in an upper part of a traveling truck, while setting a belt end to a delivery roller, and making its folding length so as to be detected and cut automatically as delivering the belt. CONSTITUTION:After a belt drum 15 is set to on top of a drum bridge block 16, an end of a belt 1 is drawn out and inserted into space between delivery and driven rollers 2 and 2a, adjusting a takeup 18 and pressing the roller 2a to it, and the belt 1 is delivered till its end comes into contact with the bottom of a screen 10, thus starting preparations are all over. Next, the roller 2 is driven and simultaneously a motor a traveling truck 8 is rotated clockwise and the belt 1 is delivered to the left, and if a limit switch 25 of the truck 8 kicks an L1 left striker 26 of a portal bridge 6, the truck 8 is once stopped, changed over to a reversion, whereby the truck 8 travels to the right so that the belt 1 is safely folded with an (a) point as a folding point. Then, after detection of folding requisite length of the belt 1 from rotational frequency of the roller 2, the truck 8 is stopped, and the belt 1 is cut by a cutter truck 21, extruding it with a pallet truck.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to an improvement in a belt folding device when replacing a conveyor belt used for conveying raw materials for steel manufacturing and the like.

When replacing a conveyor belt that is used to transport raw materials for steelmaking, etc., the replacement belt is generally packed in a drum or folded state.

When replacing the drum, the drum cannot be placed on the conveyor frame due to the strength of the conveyor frame, so it is placed on the ground as shown in Figure 6. It takes a lot of time to remove and install peripheral equipment such as rollers, and if the conveyor is located at a high place, the work of joining and retracting the old bell (la) and the replacement bell (b) lb in section A becomes even more difficult. It becomes difficult. In addition, if there is insufficient replacement length for one drum roll, the belt for two drum rolls should be spliced in advance at another location in order to shorten the belt splicing work time on site. This situation makes it even more difficult to carry out on-site construction work.

On the other hand, when replacing the replacement belt 1b in a folded state, the load on the belt is distributed over the folded length of the belt, making it possible to place it on the conveyor frame, as shown in Figure 7. It is being replaced. If this means is used, the range for removing peripheral equipment such as the carrier roller of section B may be reduced, and the belt replacement work time can be significantly shortened compared to the case of a drum state. Furthermore, it is not affected by the height of the conveyor position.

従って、ベルトの取替え手段としては、ベルトを折畳ん

Therefore, the belt is often replaced in a folded state.

Conventional belt folding means, as shown in Fig. 8, involves pulling the belt upward from a belt drum using a lifting machine.
When lowering it to the ground, the worker folds it, but it is extremely dangerous as they have to get close to the suspended load and touch it directly with their hands. There were problems in that it required a name and that the work took a long time.

This technique uses a technical method in which the belt drum is placed on the ground and the belt is sandwiched between a pair of rollers on a traveling carriage while being unwound. In this method, too, the end of the belt is first set on the rollers. The work involved was difficult, and in some cases required lifting equipment.

1) By placing the belt drum on a gate-shaped frame provided above the traveling carriage, it became easier to initially set the end of the belt on the feeding roller on the traveling carriage. That is, there is no need to first pull up the end of the belt using a lifting machine or the like as in the conventional method, and the belt can be set on the feeding roller using natural gravity.
