[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to an escalator step, and more particularly to an escalator step suitable for repairing a broken part of the step board.

As shown in FIG. 1, the steps 1 have a tread 2 with a step 8 for passengers to ride on, and a riser 3 to protect the feet of the passengers, while a parapet 4 facing the tread 1 has a skirt guard 5 at the bottom and a skirt guard 5 at the top. It consists of a panel 7, a molding 6 provided between the two, and the like.

As is well known, this step 1 is a moving body, and is used to transport passengers by placing them on the step 2. The usual way for passengers to ride is to stand still with their feet aligned on the treads 2, but some passengers run up and down the steps that are arranged in a stair-like manner. Passengers are common, especially on escalators for urban transport. In such a case, you will concentrate on stepping on the edge of the riser side of the tread 2, especially when stepping on hard footwear such as geta or studded shoes, the end of the riser side of the tread 8 will become more concentrated. The end, ie, the part a indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 2, often broke.

If this step remains broken, there is a risk of getting your foot caught in it, so it must be repaired, but in the past, the step would have to be replaced with a spare step and taken back to the factory, where it would be finished after welding. It required man-hours and time.

As a solution to this problem, it would be possible to make the end of the riser side of the treadle 2 a separate body from the central part and make it replaceable, but the configuration shown in Fig. 3 would achieve this purpose. I can't do it. That is, the configuration shown in FIG. 3 is intended to prevent the shoes from slipping when stepping on the riser side of the treadle 2, and 9 is a non-slip member formed of a separate object from the central part 8. It is made of a material with a high coefficient of friction. 10 is a metal fitting to which a non-slip member is fixed, and a mounting screw 1 is inserted into a mounting screw hole 12 provided on the rod 8.
This is the structure installed in step 1. In this machine,
Since the breakage portion of the riser side of the beam 8 is broken as shown by the break line b, there is no effect on breakage and repair of the beam.

On the other hand, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 50-79197, there is a step 1 in which a resin boundary cleat is screwed to the opposite end of the tread to the riser, but the boundary cleat of this step is simply a boundary between adjacent steps. It is only intended to clarify this, and is not designed for the purpose of repairing broken beams. Considering the partial support structure of the boundary cleat, it is clear that it will be easily damaged if a large force is applied to it.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention forms a flat part along the step width direction at the riser side end of the tread, which has a width in the step movement direction and is lower than the bottoms of the plurality of steps of the tread. A cleat band consisting of a plurality of ladders that are continuous with the plurality of rails and have the same cross-sectional shape, and a base flat portion having the same height and the same width as the flat portion is placed on the part, and the cleat band is The flat part of the base was screwed onto the flat part.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. A cleat band 13 is attached to the edge of the tread 2 on the riser 3 side along the width direction of the steps, and is composed of a plurality of legs 14 and a base flat part 15 to which the legs 14 are fixed in a comb-like shape. . From the viewpoint of strength, economy, and manufacturing, it is desirable to mold the beam 14 and the base flat portion 15 into one piece as shown in the figure. It may also be configured integrally. Further, this cleat band 13 has a width W along the longitudinal direction of the step 8 of the tread board 2, and has a flat base portion 15 thereof.
has a suitable thickness h. Furthermore, the cross-sectional shape and spacing of the legs 14 of the cleat band 13 are formed to be the same as those of the tread 2, and by abutting the ends of both legs 8 and 14, a continuous bar is formed. For this purpose, a cleat band 1 is attached to the edge of the riser 3 side of the tread plate 2.
A flat portion having a width W equal to 3 and a depth equal to the thickness h of the base flat portion 15 is formed. By placing the base flat part 15 of the cleat band 13 on this flat part, the upper surface of the base flat part 15 and the tread plate 2
The upper surface of the base 14 and the pedestal 8 match, and in this state, the flat part of the base and the flat part of the tread plate 2 are removably connected by screws 16 and nuts 17. At this time, the base flat portion 15 and the flat portion of the footboard are in surface contact.

With the above configuration, the riser side end of the treadle 2 is configured separately from the center part, so even if a passenger steps up or down by stepping on the riser side end of the treadle, the resulting large load will be avoided. It acts mostly on the cleat zone 13. Moreover, since the base flat portion 15 of the cleat band 13 is attached in surface contact with the flat portion of the tread plate 2, the load applied to the cleat band 13 can be sufficiently dispersed to the tread plate 2 side. Therefore, even if a passenger rides on the cleat band 13 and a large load is applied, the cleat band 13 will not be bent or deformed, and the cleat band 13 will be stably supported. Therefore, since the cleat band 13 is divided from the tread plate 2, there is no decrease in strength, and the strength is almost the same as that of a conventional non-divided pedestal. If the ram 14 of the cleat band 13 breaks down due to the action of a large force that would break a conventional ram, the breakage will not spread to the ram 8 of the tread 2, and therefore the screw 16 It can be easily repaired by simply loosening the nut 17 and replacing the broken cleat band 13. Here, cleat band 13
The material of the step 14 may be the same as that of the step 8 of the tread 2, but it may also be made of a different material or a different color. In particular, it is preferable to use a material that is stronger and less likely to break than the step 8 of the footboard 2. In addition, the cleat band 13 is 14
When setting the width W, if it is too short, the width of the tread 2
It is preferable to set the length to about 20 to 70 mm, as there is a risk that the breakage will spread to other areas, and if it is too long, it will be uneconomical. Thickness h of base flat portion 15 of cleat band 13
Of course, it must have a strength equal to or higher than that of the footboard 14, but it is even more important to consider how to attach it to the footboard 2. Further, the cleat band 13 may be integrally formed over the entire length of the step 1 in the left and right direction, but from an economic point of view, it may be necessary to form the cleat band 13 with an appropriate length in consideration of manufacturing and replacement in the event of breakage of the step 14. It is preferable to have a structure in which the tread plate 2 is divided into two parts, and each part can be detachably attached to the riser side end of the tread plate 2.

As described above, the cleat band 13, which has a plurality of legs 13 and includes a base flat part 14 to which these plurality of legs are continuously fixed, is removably provided at the end of the riser side of the tread 2. , the only broken part of the cleat band is the part 14 of the cleat band 13, and by replacing the broken cleat band 13, it can be repaired quickly.
3 is supported in surface contact with the flat part of the treadle 2, so that it has great effects such as stable support without deformation of the cleat band 13 when passengers get on and off.
