発明の効果
本発明によれば従来技術によっては解決が困難であった
種々問題を解決できるセンサーが実現される。

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1、環境パラメーターの変化に応じて光ファイバー中に
マイクロベンドを生じさせるファイバーオプティックセ
ンサーにおいて、前記光ファイバーは第1の材料で作ら
れた外装の中に埋め込まれており、前記外装は周期的な
切れ目ないし不連続性部分を持つ第2の材料の層によつ
て覆われており、前記第1および第2の材料は、前記パ
ラメーターの変化が前記切れ目の周期性と同じ周期性の
マイクロベンドを生じさせるように前記環境パラメータ
ーに応答して感応することを特徴とするセンサー。 2、前記第1および第2の材料が、異なる熱膨張係数を
持つているような、温度の変化に感応するための、特許
請求の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 3、前記第1の材料がプラスチック材料であり、そして
前記第2の材料が金属であるような、特許請求の範囲第
2項記載のセンサー。 4、前記第2の材料が金属であり、前記切れ目が前記金
属の機械的アタックによつて得られるような、特許請求
の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 5、前記第2の材料が金属であり、前記切れ目が前記金
属の化学的アタックによつて得られるような、特許請求
の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 6、前記第1および第2の材料が、異なる湿度吸収係数
を持つているような、湿度に感応するための、特許請求
の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 7、前記第1および第2の材料が、異なる剛性を持つて
いるような、圧力に感応するための、特許請求の範囲第
1項記載のセンサー。 8、前記光ファイバーがモノモードファイバーであるよ
うな、特許請求の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 9、前記光ファイバーがマルチモードファイバーである
ような、特許請求の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 10、前記光ファイバーがバイモードファイバーである
ような、特許請求の範囲第1項記載のセンサー。 11、前記の切れ目の同期性は、前記環境パラメーター
の変化に応答して生じるマイクロベンドが、前記ファイ
バーによつて導かれている少なくとも1つのモードから
、前記ファイバーの外側に発散する少なくとも1つのモ
ードへのエネルギーの移動をひき起こさせるように設け
られているような、特許請求の範囲第1項記載のセンサ
ー。 12、前記切れ目の前記周期性は、前記環境パラメータ
ーの変化に応答して生じるマイクロベンドが、前記ファ
イバーによつて導かれている少なくとも1つのモードか
ら、前記ファイバーによつて導かれる少なくとも1つの
他のモードへのエネルギーの移動をひき起こさせるよう
に設けられているような、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の
センサー。
