Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an entire weight of a hood light, by making the hood by overlapping and bonding an inner plate member made of a honeycomb surrounded by a plastic surface member to the inner surface of an outer plate member made of a aluminum plate. CONSTITUTION:An outer plate member 2 constructing the entire configuration of a hood 1 is formed of an aluminum plate, the outer plate member 2 having an inner surface overlapping and bonded to an inner plate member 3 comprising a circumferential edge reinforcing member 31 and a V-shaped reinforcing mem ber 32 along a line connecting a lock unit mounting portion 13 and hinge mount ing portions 15. The circumferential edge reinforcing member 31 and the V-shaped reinforcing member 32 are formed integrally. Further, the inner plate member 3 is formed of a honeycomb core 36 with a foamed body 42 filled in its core and surrounded by a plastic surface member. The outer plate member 2 has an inner surface provided with a beam rigidity holding member 4 inter posed between the circumferential edge reinforcing member 31 and the V-shaped reinforcing member 32 of the inner plate member 3. The beam rigidity holding member 4 is formed by filling a foamed body 35 between the outer plate 2 and a plastic plate 41 bonded to the inner surface of the outer plate 2.

As a means of reducing the weight of automobiles, this conventional product is made by molding the automobile hood, which is generally rectangular in overall shape, from a plastic plate instead of a steel plate. The hinge attachment formed at both ends of the circumferential edge rib and the bottom edge of the plastic plate had a structure in which V-shaped ribs were integrally molded and protruded along the line connecting the parts.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the conventional product described above, as shown in FIG. There are dents (sink marks) 10 on the surface of the plastic plate 100 at certain points.
4 may occur, and if this occurs, it will be necessary to apply putty or the like during surface finishing to repair it.In order to prevent the above-mentioned dents 104, reducing the width of the ribs will allow sufficient In order to obtain reinforcement strength, it is necessary to increase the number of ribs, which causes the problem that it becomes difficult to cut out the mold during molding.

Furthermore, a plastic plate alone does not have the effect of shielding radio waves, so if a conventional product is used as a hood for the engine room, the noise radio waves emitted from the engine will pass through the hood and leak outside the car, which can cause damage to the car's radio or radio. There was also the problem of inputting data into computers and causing radio interference.
