されていが、外径切削用バイトには対策がとられ
ていなかつた。しかし硬い材料の工作物を外径切
削するときには、やはりビビリが発生するので問

シヤンク部1が切削主分力方向にH形の中央梁が

構成されたバイトであつて、この両側のレジンコ
ンクリート4は断面H形の芯金部材3に穿がたれ

図に示されたものに限定されるものではなく、各
種の変形をなすことができるものである。尚レジ
ンコンクリートは鋳込み以外に芯金と接着により

をレジンコンクリートによりもたせることができ
て、剛性があり高減衰性のあるバイトとなり、切
削時にビビリの発生を防止することができる。そ
のため特に高硬度素材の切削に対して効果があ
る。またこの芯金のH形と主分力との関係によつ
てシヤンクを刃物台に固定するセツトボルトは芯
金の上を押すことになりレジンコンクリートを損
傷することがない。またレジンコンクリートは断
熱性に優れているので切削時にバイト刃先に発熱
があつてもシヤンク部に伸びがなく、工作物の寸
法変化が少なくなる。更にバイト全体の重量が軽
くなり取扱いが容易となる。更にまた断面H形鋼
の芯金の両側のレジンコンクリートを芯金の横穴
を通して連結したので剥離し難くなりレジンコン
クリートの収縮時に芯金を強固に挟持して減衰性
