Among these, the former type of sheet heating element has a heating circuit pattern that can be easily formed by etching or other means on metal foil, as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-21470. Multiple heating circuits can be easily obtained, and it is currently used in many wattage-switchable electric carpets. In this case, the planar heating element itself is constructed by, for example, forming a heating circuit on one side of a thermosensitive resin film, and forming a special electrode for temperature detection on the other side by etching, etc. It also serves as a temperature detection electrode to detect changes in impedance of the thermosensitive resin film, thereby controlling the supply of electricity to the heat generating circuit.

The number tends to increase. Under these circumstances, the conventional method of forming a dedicated electrode for temperature detection on a sheet heating element is not appropriate;
It is necessary to form this dedicated electrode separately from the sheet heating element to take up a large space for the heating circuit in the sheet heating element.

3 is formed separately from the planar heating element.
For example, various methods have been proposed, such as U.S. Pat. That is,
In the figure, 21 is a planar heating element, 21a is an insulating layer such as polyester, 21b is a heating conductor foil constituting a heating circuit, 22 is a thermal adhesive layer, 23 is a cord-shaped temperature detection wire, 24
25 indicates the back material, and 25 indicates the surface material. This electric carpet has 259 surface materials and 21 planar heating elements. Temperature detection line 2
3 and the back material 24 are sequentially laminated to provide a heat-sealing layer 22 between each member, and then integrated by hot pressing.
Due to the upward convex deformation, the surface is not flat, making it uncomfortable to sit on and having an unfavorable appearance.

This caused deterioration and reduced adhesive strength, which shortened the lifespan of electric carpets.

Since this is prevented by the insulating film 3b etc., there is no risk of convex deformation of the surface material C or the planar heating element A itself.
Temperature detection line B due to the cushioning properties of the insulating film 3b
Since it is possible to absorb a part of the thickness of the sheet heating element A, deformation of the sheet heating element A can be further prevented.

Since they are isolated by the heat-fusible film layer 4b, the heat-fusible coating layer 10, etc., there is no fear that the insulating layer 9 of the temperature detection line B and the polymer thermosensitive body 7 will be deteriorated by heat.

Since it is equipped with a shaped temperature detection wire, it is possible to improve the sitting comfort and appearance by eliminating convex deformation of the surface, and also prevents deformation of the one-sided heating element to prevent disconnection of the heating conductor foil, and has adhesive strength. This has the effect of making it possible to maintain the temperature of the product, thereby extending the life of the product.
