Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はドラムブレーキに用いるブレーキシユ
ーのシユー本体の改良に関するものである。

一般に、ドラムブレーキに用いるブレーキシユ
ーにおいては、そのシユー本体が、わん曲平板で
あるリムと、このリムの内周面に沿つて一側縁が
当接固着されたウエブからなる断面T字型に構成
されてなるものが普通であり、この2部片からな
る本体は夫々の部片を各別に打抜き、溶接にて固
着させる加工工程を必要としている。しかしこの
ような構成では、プレス機、プレス型、溶接機な
どの加工機械を工程順に配置して、順次この加工
工程を経てシユー本体を形成させねばならず、加
工工数の多いことなどからコスト的に不利となる
他、ウエブのわん曲した形状よりして、使用材料
の歩留りもあまりよくなく、溶接不良などの問題
も考慮しなければならないものである。

わせてリムおよびウエブの部分を2重構造のもの
として、使用材自体の厚みを低減させることによ
り加工の容易化を図つたものである。

たグリースも不用になつて、このグリースがドラ
ム摺動面に付着する結果、ブレーキ効きの低下や
不安定化の問題も全く考慮する必要がないという
利益も得られる。

の低減、部材の歩留り向上など種々の利益が得ら
れる他、第3図より明らかな如く、リムの一側縁
は弧状の端縁形状をなすために、これがドラムブ
レーキのバツキングプレートに摺動する際の抵抗
も小さいという前述した効果も得られることにな
る。

がれのおそれは従来例より極めて少ない。
