Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent detrimental metal powder from being produced, by using a core having a plastic part adapted to be made into contact with a chucking device, in combination with the chucking device. CONSTITUTION:A chucking device 1 is composed of a plastic chuck 3, excepting a key 2 and a chuck joint 4. Further, a core 10 is formed with a plastic material in the following parts, a nozzle section 12, the inner wall surface of a chuck insertion hole 13 and a key groove 14. In this arrangement, when the chuck 3 in the chucking device 1 is inserted in the chuck insertion hole 13 in the nozzle section 12 of the core 10 and the key 2 is engaged in the key groove 14, the core 10 is mounted on the chucking device 1. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent metal powder such as iron powder or the like which is photographically detrimental, from being produced.

) by inserting the core (10) into the chuck insertion hole (13) provided in the mouthpiece (12)' of the core (10). However, since the chucking device and the core mouthpiece are usually made of metal such as iron, the core and chucking device may be damaged when the core is attached to the chucking device, or when the core is taken up or unwound after being attached. Impact, pressure, friction, etc. between the webs generate fine metal powder, which adheres to the web and causes its own negative effects. For example, in the case of photographic materials, the formation of speckled capri and a decrease in photographic sensitivity. Examples of the glass used for both the core and the chucking device used in the present invention include nylon, polyacetal, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, fluororesin, ABS [JJL], phenolic resin, epoxy resin, etc. Not limited to these. As for the mechanical properties of these resins, it is desirable that they be as hard as possible, have a high elastic modulus, and have little elongation, and further preferably have high tensile strength. The first guideline for these mechanical properties when performing ritual rituals according to the present invention is
Shown in the table.

Table 1 The present invention can prevent or significantly reduce the generation of metal powder such as iron powder by forming at least a portion or the whole of the core and the chucking device that come into contact with each other from plastic. When carrying out the present invention, it is preferable to use materials that exhibit as little wear and deformation as possible and are excellent in durability, and it is preferable to use materials that have mechanical properties within the range listed in Table 1 above.

In carrying out the present invention, the core and the chucking device may be made of the same plastic, but it is preferable to use a combination of different plastics. The inventors' experience has shown that when the same core and chucking device are used, a relatively large amount of dust is generated due to abrasion of the plastic, but when a combination of different devices is used, there is less dust. (See Examples below). Therefore, by using different plastics for the core and the chucking device, a favorable result can be obtained in that the amount of plastic powder as well as metal powder is reduced.

Also, it is preferable to make all the parts that come in contact with each other during installation from plastic, but if the parts are made entirely of plastic, the mechanical strength will be insufficient, and if it is unavoidable to use gold pA in some areas, the contact area will be as small as possible. It is preferable to do so.
