Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an optical pickup device immune to change in the lapse of time and with less open fault of a lead by forming a damper into the shape of a coil spring by a conductive member and using the damper for the lead of a drive coil of an actuator holder in common. CONSTITUTION:Integral dampers 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b are formed as a coil spring so as to support an actuator holder 2 to a main body base 7 and so as not to disturb the drive of the actuator holder 2 and formed to be the dampers immune to change in the lapse of time together with a metallic material. On the other hand, the dampers 16a, 16b, as a means supplying a current to an A direction drive coil 10 and a B direction drive coil 13 integrated with the actuator holder 2, are used in common as a lead 5 as a current supply wire to the A direction drive coil 10 in common. Then the dampers 17a, 17b are used in common as a lead 5 as a current supply wire to the B direction drive coil 13. Thus, the immunity against change in the lapse of time is improved and the open lead fault of the lead is reduced.
