Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a stable lubrication to a bearing unit of a shaft, by providing a projecting plate projecting upwardly in an axial direction at the bottom of a closed casing housing a machine unit and a motor and preventing the rotation of lubricating oil by the projecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A motor 2 and a machine unit 5 are housed in a closed casing 1. When a rotor 3 and a shaft 9 rotate, refrigerant is introduced into a compressing chamber 8 from an inlet hole 6 through an inlet pipe 12. The refrigerant is gradually compressed, discharged into the casing 1 through a discharge hole 7 once and then discharged through a discharge pipe 13. Further, lubricating oil 14 staying on the bottom of the casing 1 is supplied to a bearing unit 11 through a lubricating hole 10 of a shaft 9. There is provided a projecting plate 15 projecting upwardly in an axial direction at the bottom of the closed casing 1 in the arrangement mentioned above.
