プラズマ切断トーチを搭載したプラズマ切断機は公知の
技術であるが、切断作業に伴い、電極の消耗、甚しい場
合は破損を伴い、しばしば電極部の交換を必要とし、ガ
ス切断に数倍する高速切断性能も、電極の交換に要する
時間とわづらはしさで相隣される。電極の耐久性を増す
ことは最も期待されることであるが、現在の技術と材料
では極めて困難と考えられる。電極の交換を容易にする
手段としては特願昭60−242629により又、電極
寿命の検出については、特願昭60−163972によ

〈作用〉
本発明の方法によれば、火口内部の電極を交換するに際
して火口の外部を構成する各部品を外し、電極交換後に

ワンタッチでプラズマトーチの器頭部に火口を着脱する
ことができ、且つ予め新しい電極を組付けた火口を予備
として蓄えておくことにより切断機の休止時間の短縮が
計られる。又着脱部の着脱機構を簡略化して自動着脱を
行うようにしたことにより、プラズマ切断機の無人化運

開先切断を行うに際し、常にトーチの傾斜方向を切断線
に対して法線方向にトーチ角度設定機構3を回転せしめ
た際に、ホース電線などの捩しれをホースなどの抵抗に
より防止し、相対的に自由にプラズマトーチが回転しう
るようにしたトーチ把持機構、5は火口を交換するに際
し、トーチの回転を固定する目的をもつクランプ機構で

プラズマ切断装置の稼動率を高め、近年切断装置の自動
化に対しNC制御が普及している現状から、火口の交換
をすることは装置の自動化と共に監視作業を省略し、生
