The tip holder 8 is parallel to the electrode holder 1 and connected and held in an accurate and stable state with no misalignment, and is configured so as to ensure excellent electrical conductivity and prevent welding defects. A compressed air supply port 12 is provided below the electrode holder 1 so that spatter generated during welding can be blown off by the supplied air to prevent adhesion to the guide pin 3. ing. The compressed air supply port 12 can also be provided in the chip holder 8. In this case, the piping of the cooling water circulation path 9 and the compressed air piping are all assembled in the chip holder 8, which is convenient for handling.

The point at which welding is performed is basically the same as that of a conventional spot welding apparatus of this type. In the case where the spatter adheres and the guide pins 3 are worn or damaged due to the welding process and parts need to be replaced, conventionally, the supply of water or the supply of compressed air to the cooling water circulation path is stopped. However, since the replacement work is performed after removing all the accessories such as connecting hoses, the replacement work is complicated and takes a long time, and the welding work has to be stopped for a long time. The tip holder 8 with the clamp mechanism 7 is detachably connected to the upper end of the electrode holder 1 and the guide pin 3 is positioned and projected from the upper end of the tip holder 8. Therefore, if the clamp mechanism 7 is loosened, the tip holder 8 can be easily and freely attached and detached. To exchange the guide pins 3 are screwed, so that the can be easily be exchanged adjusting rod 2 itself. In addition, the tip holder 8 with accessories such as a cooling water supply hose is pulled out from the electrode holder 1 and does not rotate at all, so there is no need to stop the supply of cooling water, and the tip holder 8 is connected to the electrode holder 1. It is not necessary to stop the supply of the compressed air without changing the air supply hose or the like, and the replacement operation can be performed extremely easily and in a short time. Further, as shown in the figure, when the lower end of the electrode holder 1 is detachably connected to the air cylinder 4 via a cylinder mounting member 6 with a clamp mechanism, the electrode cylinder 1 can be easily removed without removing the air cylinder 4. This is preferable because the cylinder mounting member 6 can be detached, and the adjustment rod 2 and cylinder parts can be easily replaced.

A clamp mechanism 7 and a chip holder 8 with a cooling water circulation path 9 are detachably connected to an upper end of the electrode holder 1, and the guide pin 3 is positioned and protruded from the upper end of the chip holder 8. With such a configuration, if the clamp mechanism 7 is loosened, the tip holder 8 can be easily and freely attached and detached. To exchange the guide pins 3 which are screwed into the adjusting rod 2, and can be performed easily be exchanged adjusting rod 2 itself. In addition, the chip holder 8 with accessories such as a cooling water supply hose is pulled out from the electrode holder 1 and does not rotate at all, so there is no need to stop the supply of cooling water.
It is not necessary to stop the supply of compressed air without changing the air supply hose or the like connected to the apparatus.

寄与するところは極めて大である。As is clear from the above description, the present invention can easily replace electrodes and guide pins in a short time, and has excellent electric conduction and cooling effects, and can perform welding for a long time. It is possible to perform stable welding without causing defects. Therefore, the present invention greatly contributes to industrial development as a spot welding apparatus that has eliminated the conventional problems.
