A conventional spare tire holding device is usually constructed as shown in FIG. In the same figure, 01
is a spare tire, 02 is a spare tire holding member,
03 is the bracket, 04 is the hanger, 05 is the fuel tank, 06 is the pad, 07 is the rear floor of the car, 08 is the rear bumper, and 012 is the rear wheel.
Since the fuel tank 05 is large outside the outline of the fuel tank 12, the rear wheels 012 of the fuel tank 05
In order to prevent the outer contour portion L' from being damaged in the event of a rear-end collision, a structure is adopted to reinforce each part and absorb the impact force on the rear bumper 8 in the event of a rear-end collision, or by deformation of other parts. Countermeasures are being taken. However, such measures are not only uneconomical in terms of weight and cost, but also have unstable collision characteristics.Fuel tank 05 is in full contact with spare tire 01, so fuel tank 05 The problem was that the spare tire 01 was severely affected by its behavior during the collision and was damaged, making it more likely to cause a fuel leakage accident.

The present invention was proposed with the aim of solving the above-mentioned problems of the conventional device.It is installed on the underside of the rear floor of an automobile, and its length in the longitudinal direction is set to approximately fall within the contour of the rear wheel. a fuel tank formed on the bottom surface of the fuel tank, a sloped part formed on the bottom surface of the fuel tank and sloping toward the front, and located behind the sloped part and arranged astride the rear lower surface of the fuel tank and the lower surface of the rear floor. A spare tire, a spare tire holding member whose legs are widened to hold the spare tire, and which are attached to the left and right frames of the automobile via the same bracket as the fuel tank, and whose rear end is attached to the rear floor. The present invention relates to a spare tire holding device for an automobile, which is characterized in that it is equipped with a spare tire holding device.

In FIG. 2, 1 is a spare tire, 2 is a spare tire holding member, and the rear end of the holding member 2 is suspended and supported by a well-known hanger 4.
Further, both legs at the front thereof are formed wide as shown in FIG. The tips of both front legs of the holding member 2 are attached to the lower ends of a bracket 3 attached to a bracket 10b projecting from the left and right frames 9, respectively. Reference numeral 5 denotes a fuel tank mounted on the lower surface of the rear floor 7 of the automobile.The front end of the fuel tank 5 is bolted to a bracket 10a projecting from the left and right frames 9, respectively, and the middle part is bolted to the bracket 10a. 10b, and the rear end is provided with a bracket 1 protruding from the left and right frames 9.
It is fixed to the lower surface of the rear floor 7 by tightening bolts to the lower surface of the rear floor 7. Further, the length of the fuel tank 5 in the longitudinal direction is set so that it almost fits within the outline (diameter) of the rear wheel 12, and the lower surface thereof has a wall facing forward as shown in FIG. A slope portion 5a that slopes downward is provided. The slope portion 5a helps the spare tire 1 to slide down along the trajectory shown by two-dot chain lines a and b in FIG. 2 when an impact force is applied to the rear bumper 8.
Reference numeral 11 denotes a seat for the spare tire 1 which is protruded from the lower surface of the rear floor 7 as shown in FIG. It is designed to be fixed and held by the holding member 2 via 6a and 6b.

One embodiment of the device of the present invention is constructed as described above, and in order to hold the spare tire 1 with this device, the spare tire 1 is placed on the holding member 2, and then the rear end of the holding member 2 is attached to the hanger. Hanging on 4,
When the hanger 4 is tightened, the spare tire 1 is held in the state shown in FIG. Now, if an impact force is applied to the rear bumper 8 due to an accident such as a rear-end collision,
The fuel tank 5 is approximately within the contour of the rear wheel 12;
Since there is a margin of distance L between the rear end and the outer circumference of the rear end of the spare tire 1, the members between the L are damaged and absorb the impact force, and the spare tire 1 is connected to the slope of the bottom of the fuel tank 5. Along the part 5a, the fuel tank 5 slides down along the trajectory of the two-dot chain lines a and b.
This prevents fuel leakage and increases safety. In addition, since the front bracket 3 of the holding member 2 is tightened together with the fuel tank 5, it is possible to make it more compact in the width direction and to reduce the relative displacement between it and the fuel tank 5 in the event of a collision. Damage to the fuel tank 5 can be prevented.

Since the device of the present invention has the above-described structure and function, it eliminates all the problems of the conventional device and prevents damage to the fuel tank and leakage of fuel in the event of a rear-end collision. The present invention has the practical effect of realizing a highly safe spare tire holding device that is free from the risk of causing disasters and accidents.
