Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a compressor from overspeeding, by providing a compressor protecting device for shutting off a compressor driving circuit when the engine rotational speed is increased so that the rotational speed of a compressor exceeds an allowable limit or when the difference in rotational speed between the engine and the compressor exceeds a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:The rotational speed 3 of a compressor 1 and the rotational speed of an engine 2 are delivered to a drive control circuit 10 which compares both values with each other. Further, when the difference between both rotational speeds exceeds a predetermined value, a drive control circuit 18 delivers a stop signal for the compressor 1 through an A/C circuit 5 and a relay 6. を判別し、回転数差が大きくなったときにはコンプレッ
サ保護のためにコンプレッサの作動を停止するものであ
るが、コンプレッサの上限回転数に関しては全く考慮さ
れていないため近年におけるエンジンの性能向上に伴う
コンプレッサの高回転化に対応できないという問題があ
る。すなわち、エンジンの性能向上により、コンプレッ
サの回転数がその限界回転数(約850Or、p、m 
)を越え、コンプレッサに過度の負担がかかるような場
合でも従来装置ではエンジン回転数とコンプレッサ回転
数の差が大きくならない限り、コンプレッサはそのまま
作動を続けてしまい、過回転に対して何ら保護対策がな
されていない。
