The present invention relates to a sealant cartridge, and in particular, it is an object to provide a sealant cartridge that is excellent in moisture resistance and workability. In recent years, as buildings become taller and more prefabricated, the workability of sealants used in these buildings has improved.
There is a strong demand for further improvements in durability and aesthetic appearance after construction. Demand for silicone sealants is steadily increasing as they satisfy the above-mentioned demands. For example, in the architectural field, it is used as a sealant or adhesive for the joints of glass, sash, and stone; in the electrical field, it is used as a potting agent, coating agent, or adhesive for electrical and electronic equipment; and in the vehicle field, it is used for fixing window glass, and for oil pans. It is widely used as a gasket material for on-site molding around engines. Most of these silicone sealants are so-called one-component room-temperature-curing silicone rubbers that cure by reacting with moisture in the air, and are filled into cartridges made of kraft paper, aluminum, or plastic, and are The kraft paper cartridges shown in Figures 1 and 2 are often used. 1 in the figure is a cartridge body formed into a cylinder by wrapping hard kraft paper, and the inner surface of this cartridge is usually coated with aluminum, polyethylene, or polypropylene to improve moisture resistance and airtightness. The outer surface is covered with aluminum foil or polyethylene film. A soft plastic nozzle 2 is attached to one mouth of the cylindrical body 1, and a plunger 3 is slidably fitted to the other mouth. 4 is a moisture-proof membrane. On the other hand, aluminum cartridges or plastic cartridges have the same structure as above, and because their cylindrical bodies are made of aluminum or plastic, their moisture resistance and airtightness are much improved compared to those made of kraft paper. However, on the other hand, it has the disadvantage that it is difficult to deform and restore its shape when subjected to impact. Cartridges such as those described above are strongly required to be moisture resistant because it is necessary to maintain the shelf life of the silicone sealant filled and accommodated therein for a long period of time. The viscosity is 100 to 1000 cS (25
It has been proposed (Japanese Patent Publication No. 50-35339) to form a coating film for sheets by coating low-viscosity dimethylpolysiloxane (°C), but since the dimethylpolysiloxane is liquid, There is a problem in that it is difficult to coat the inner surface uniformly and to have a desired thickness. It is also known to coat the inner surface of the cylindrical body with polyethylene-based microcrystalline wax (Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-57343), but since the polyethylene-based microcrystalline wax that is the coating component is a low-molecular compound, During long-term storage, it has the disadvantage that it is eluted and dissolved by the contained silicone sealant, impairing the physical properties of the sealant near the plunger, especially the adhesion. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to provide a new and improved cartridge which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages, and more particularly, a sealant cartridge which has perfect moisture resistance, airtightness, and slidability, and which does not impair the physical properties of the sealant contents. purpose. That is, in the present invention, the inner surface of the cylindrical body into which the plunger of the sealant cartridge is fitted,
One or more types selected from (1) alkyl-modified polysiloxane, (2) modified polysiloxane containing a carboxyalkyl group and an alkyl group, and (3) modified polysiloxane containing a hydroxyalkyl group and an alkyl group. It is characterized by forming a coating film of a modified polysiloxane having a melting point of 45°C or higher and consisting of a mixture of the following. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail based on the accompanying drawings. In FIGS. 3 and 4, 1 is a cylindrical body of the sealant cartridge, 2 is a nozzle, 3 is a plunger, and 5 is a siloxane coating film. It is essential that the polysiloxane used in the present invention has a melting point of 45°C or higher, preferably 50 to 100°C. If the melting point is too low, there will be problems with handling and dust adhesion during the summer, while if it is too high, it will be necessary to apply the coating to the inner surface of the cylindrical body of the cartridge at a high temperature, and it will be difficult to apply it uniformly. Moreover, this is because it is economically disadvantageous. Moreover, the polysiloxane has C10 in its molecule.
Preferably, those having an alkyl group of ~50 C are less than the desired melting point, while those with a C 50 or more are difficult to obtain as raw materials, and conversely their melting point is too high, making them difficult to handle. bring about various disadvantages. Such alkyl-modified polysiloxanes, modified polysiloxanes containing carboxyalkyl groups and alkyl groups, modified polysiloxanes containing hydroxyalkyl groups and alkyl groups can be produced by conventionally known methods, such as 〓Si--H bond-containing It can be easily synthesized by reacting polysiloxane with hydrocarbons, carboxylic acids, or alcohols containing aliphatic unsaturated bonds in the presence of platinum or a platinum compound. Representative examples of the polysiloxane are listed below. However, in the following description, Me stands for CH 3 - and Ph stands for
