を備え、この偏心質量部の軸受部とは反対側の端
部が自由端である内燃機関のバランスシヤフトに
おいて、上記偏心質量部の軸心側の面に、上記軸
受部から自由端側へ延びるリブを形成し、このリ
ブは上記偏心質量部の長さの約1/3〜1/2の
長さを有し、かつ自由端側ほど低く形成され、自
由端側部分において上記面に滑らかに接続するこ
とを特徴とする内燃機関のバランスシヤフト。 2 上記リブの横断面形状が、上記面に近づくほ
ど幅広になる形状であることを特徴とする実用新
