大きく、しかも表面に強い打撃を受けても傷がつきにく
い等の優れた性質をもっている上に、さらに染色または
漆塗装が容易であり、表面の美観を保ち易い等のため従
来性・木等に接着して剣道の防具用の胴とか防護用の循

充填剤等のフィラーによる強化)の成形物に動物の生皮
または鮫皮または合成皮革を接着することにより、軽く
てしかも優れた性能の剣道防具用の胴、防護用の楯等が

宇部日東化成工業製の黒色のガラス繊維強化ポリプロピ
レン(ガラス繊維40%)Azdel−1137を20
0℃、100気圧、30秒なるプレス条件で、剣道防具
用の胴形の金型により厚さ約4.5 mmの成形物をま
ずつくり、これに三井石油化学製の塗装用プライマーユ
ニストールPを下塗りしたあと、予め7日間の水浸しに
より軟化・水洗し、木型によって上述の胴形の成形物表
面に密着しうるよう成形・乾燥した黒色の牛の生皮を中
央理化工業製のエポキシ系の接着剤・リカボンドEX−
LAおよびリカボンドEX−IB (硬化剤)によって
