Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve collecting efficiency of soot, reduce clogging and provide the ventilating fan provided with the filter prominent in cleaning property by a method wherein the filter is made by a metallic wavy plate having multitude of small openings while the filter is constituted so that the direction of the troughs of wavy plate is vertical. CONSTITUTION:The filter 15 is made by a corrugated punching metal 16, therefore, the effective area thereof is large while the rate of perforation is large, therefore, the pressure loss thereof is small. The size of the holes is small, therefore, large particles of oil can be arrested surely while the direction of flow of air becomes diagonal with respect to the holes, therefore, the possibility of collision of oil particles against the filter 15 becomes large and high collecting efficiency may be obtained. The arrested oil is pushed by airflow and is collected into the troughs of the filter 15, then, flows down along the lower part of the troughs and is collected into an oil receiving pan; therefore, clogging of the openings is small as compared with the case of a flat filter. On the other hand, if the height between the crest and trough of the corrugation of the filter 15 is not so large, the filter may be cleaned easily by washing along the direction of the troughs with a brush.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Ventilation fans, which are generally used in kitchens to discharge oily smoke generated during cooking to prevent indoor air from becoming contaminated, are heavily soiled due to the oily smoke that adheres to them, and must be cleaned frequently. In order to eliminate this cleaning effort, conventionally, as shown in Fig. 5, a filter 1 is placed in a filter frame 2, which is attached to the front of the frame 3 of the ventilation fan body, so that the oil smoke is captured by the filter 1, and the blades Methods such as 4 are used to prevent contamination.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the conventional ventilation fan described above, when the filter is made of resin nonwoven fabric, the material is flammable, which poses a problem in terms of disaster prevention. In addition, we use a large number of aluminum wire metal filters (8 for FY-25EG1) to improve the efficiency of collecting oil smoke.
Materials were used and required. In the case of flat punched metal, it is easy to clean, but in order to reduce pressure loss, the pore size must be large, and if the hole diameter is large, the efficiency of collecting oil smoke is poor, and if the hole diameter is small, it is difficult to capture oil smoke. Although the collection efficiency is improved, there is a problem in that the trapped oil does not flow down to the bottom, closing the hole and reducing the exhaust air volume in a short period of time.

Effect: With this configuration, oil smoke generated during cooking is efficiently captured on the surface of the corrugated plate with a small pore diameter, and flows down along the grooves of the corrugated plate without covering the filter surface too much. Furthermore, when the filter becomes clogged, the filter can be removed from the frame of the ventilation fan body and easily cleaned along the grooves with a scrubbing brush.

In the ventilation fan having the above configuration, the motor 12 is started and the blades 13 start exhausting air. At that time, shutter 1
8 will open at the same time. In this state, air containing pollutants generated during cooking is discharged outside to keep indoor air clean. The oily smoke contained in the exhaust gas is captured by the filter 15, and the frame 112, blades 13, etc. of the ventilation fan body are prevented from becoming dirty. Here, since the punching metal 16 is corrugated, the filter 16 has a large effective area, and has a large porosity, so the pressure loss is small. In addition, since the pore diameter is small, large oil particles are reliably captured, and as shown in Figure 4, the air flow is not perpendicular to the pore position.
Since it enters from an oblique direction, there is a greater possibility that oil particles will collide with the filter 16, and a high collection efficiency can be obtained. The collected oil is swept away by the wind and collected in the groove part of the filter 16, and flows down along this groove to the bottom, and the oil pan is collected in the dish 17. Compared to the case where the filter 16 is flat, Less clogging of holes. In addition, when the filter 16 is clogged with oil smoke, cotton dust, or other substances and is cleaned and regenerated, if the heights of the crests and grooves of the waveform of the filter 16 are not too large as described above, it is possible to By cleaning with a scrubbing brush, it can be easily cleaned in the same way as flat punched metal. Moreover, since it is made of metal, it will not burn.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the description of the embodiments above, the present invention provides a ventilation fan with a filter that traps oil smoke contained in exhaust gas and prevents the ventilation fan body from becoming dirty. It is made of a metal plate, and the corrugated grooves are arranged in a vertical direction, making it nonflammable.
Low pressure loss, high oil collection efficiency, less clogging, and excellent cleaning properties. Of course, the dirt on the ventilation fan main body is significantly reduced, and the effort of cleaning the ventilation fan main body can be saved.
