らかい羽毛状となり、非常に手触り状態が良好な

うな包装状態のものを紙、合成樹脂等による外装
ケースD内へ挿入してやれば(第5図参照)包装

しているので、厚みのある種々の被包装物をでき
る丈嵩低く包装できることになり、外観上も体裁
良好な包装が可能となる。特にベース片となる片
1上に載せた各被包装物に対しては主体片3がそ
の上方から被せられてカバーでき、また主体片3
の収納凹部30内の主たる被包装物に対しては、
カバー片4が上方から被せられてこれを保護する
ので、何れも極めて緩衝性よく包装されることに
なる。しかも比較的硬質の発泡シートと比較的軟
質の発泡シートとを接合した積層シートからなる
ゆえ、緩衝性と剛性とを兼備した良好なものとな
る。即ち、比較的硬質の発泡シートにて剛性と自
己支持性にて形状維持を充分はかれる利点があ
り、また比較的軟質の発泡シートにて柔軟性を活
かして緩衝効果を高めることができる。そのた
め、全体の厚さをできる丈薄く形成しても充分使
