、コンタクト保持絶縁体の側面に設けた保持突條

後側面に設けた係止穴内に上記第１シエルの係止
突片を落し込むことにより第１シエルに第２シエ
ルを結合保持すると同時に、第１、第２シエルに
よりコネクタを挟持するようにした電気コネクタ
において、上記第１シエルの長手方向の前後の側
面に切起し先端が下側に位置するように内側方向
に起されたコネクタ保持突片をそれぞれ有するコ
ネクタ保持脚を設け、第１シエル内に嵌めこまれ
たコネクタのコンタクト保持絶縁体の第１シエル
端縁への突当て面と反対側の面を上記コネクタ保
持突片により押さえて第１シエルのみによりコネ
クタを保持固定できるようにしたことを特徴とす
