When the water supply means attached to the hair wrapping pipe is heated with a heating means to generate steam and the steam is ejected from the steam hole provided in the hair wrapping pipe, the generated steam does not flow smoothly to the steam hole. In addition, if steam accumulates near the water supply means and heats the water supply means, high-temperature water droplets form inside the hair wrapping pipe due to condensation due to the drop in steam temperature, which causes the steam to heat up. If it drips from the hole, it can cause burns.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a heating element consisting of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor, which is sandwiched between a pair of heat exchanger plates 3 having a semicircular cross section and press-fitted into the heater pipe 2 as shown in FIG. These constitute a heat generating section 4 which is a heating means. The heater pipe 2 has a press-fit holding protrusion 3 on its outer periphery over the entire length in the axial direction.
0 and a group of small protrusions 31, and has a heat storage part 8 for generating steam at the tip. Further, the central tip surface of the heat storage section 8 serves as a steam generation surface 9, and the peripheral portion serves as a steam relief groove 10. 6 is a molded pipe with brittle 5 for hair wrapping on the outer circumferential surface, and a metal pipe 7 that maintains the overall strength and serves as a heat transfer body is arranged concentrically on the inner circumferential surface for hair wrapping. It constitutes the pipe A, and the heat generating part 4
are press-fit concentrically into the metal pipe 7, and the heat generating part 4 is supported by the press-fit holding protrusion 30.

The end face of the water absorbing body 41 is exposed on the end face of the heat generating part 4, and an elastic body 16, which is a conical coil-shaped compression spring, is arranged between the water absorbing body 41 and the bead protrusion 13 provided on the metal pipe 7. The tank block 11 is biased in the protruding direction by the spring 16, and a steam generation chamber 42 is formed at a distance between the water absorbing body 41 and the heat storage section 8. The steam generation chamber 42 communicates with a steam cavity 43 partitioned into a plurality of chambers by a press-fit holding protrusion 30 between the outer periphery of the heat generating part 4 and the inner periphery of the metal pipe 7. The O-ring 14 attached to the outer periphery of the tank block 11 and the sealing 15 provided at the base end of the heat generating part 4 are in contact with the inner periphery of the metal pipe 7 to form a closed space, and the metal pipe 7 and the formed pipe 6 It communicates with the outside only through a steam hole 32 provided in the.

The heat of the heater pipe 2 heats the metal pipe 7 by radiation and convection, and also heats the metal pipe 7 by heat transfer through the press-fit holding protrusion 30, which also serves as a positioning member for the heat generating part 4 with respect to the metal pipe 7. . It is preferable that the number of press-fit holding protrusions 30 be three or more in order to uniformly heat the metal pipe 7 in the circumferential direction. still,
The small protrusion group 31 is intended to expand the surface area of the heater pipe 2.

けである。 This hair iron heated as described above can generate steam by operating the tank block 11 and supply this steam to the outer periphery of the hair wrapping pipe A. That is, when the tank block 11 is pushed against the elastic body 16 and the water absorbing body 41 is brought into contact with the steam generation surface 9, steam is generated in the steam generation chamber 42. This steam enters the steam cavity 43 from the steam relief groove 10 and is discharged from the steam hole 32. Therefore, hair is wrapped around the hair wrapping pipe A using the brittle 5 integrally molded with the molded pipe 6, and the hair is heated to an appropriate temperature by heat passing through the heat generating part 4 and the metal pipe 7. At the same time, when the tank block 11 is pushed in by hand to generate steam, the steam is supplied to the coiled hair through the steam hole 32, and the hair can be quickly styled without damaging the hair or the scalp. It is.

However, this elastic body 16 which is a conical coil spring
The small diameter side of the elastic body 16 is fixed to the tank block 11 and the large diameter side is fixed to the bead protrusion 13 of the metal pipe 7. When compressed, this elastic body 16 becomes a conical cylinder shape, and the steam flows into the tank block 11. While preventing the steam from circulating to the surroundings, the steam flows into the steam cavity 43 due to the inclination angle a of the elastic body 16, the steam relief groove 10, and the shape of the compressed elastic body 16 itself. Therefore, the steam can be released from the steam hole 32 without difficulty, and it is also possible to prevent the steam from condensing due to a temperature drop due to heat loss caused by the steam heating the tank block 11. It is. In addition, unnecessary heating of the tank block 11 causes thermal expansion of the water 45 or the air layer 46 in the tank block 11, leading to a situation where water drips from the tip of the water absorbing body 41 into the steam generation chamber 42, causing the steam hole. Although there is a risk that high temperature water droplets may drip from 32, this can also be prevented.

止できるものである。 As described above, in the present invention, the water supply means is slidable in the axial direction so that when the water supply means is pushed against the elastic body, the water supply means comes into contact with the heating means. Steam can be generated in the required amount with a simple operation, and since the heating means and water supply means are kept out of contact at all times due to the elastic body, there is no possibility of inadvertently blowing out steam. Moreover, this elastic body is shaped into a conical cylinder when compressed, and the small diameter side is used as a water supply means, and the large diameter side is connected to the hair wrapping pipe, so that the generated steam is transferred to the elastic body. This shape allows steam to be guided to a hair wrapping pipe having a steam hole, and prevents harmful effects caused by steam heating the water supply means.
