In particular, it relates to a type of wet bulb wick that uses capillary action to absorb water from a water supply pan to provide moisture.

対応する自己補給である特性を有する。 As long as the wet bulb of such a moisture supply type psychrometric hygrometer retains its inherent capillary action, it is easier to supply moisture than other methods, such as supplying moisture by dropping water droplets from above. Not only is it easy to regulate the appropriate amount, but within a certain range the moisture content is self-replenishing, matching the amount of water evaporation, that is, corresponding to the atmospheric humidity.

長期に亘つて確保できない。 A typical conventional wet bulb wick of this type includes a wet bulb wick that covers the wet bulb temperature sensing end, and a water wick whose lower end is immersed in a water pan. Since the upper end is connected in a kind of blind tube configuration, dirt from water and the atmosphere, dirt when the wet bulb is attached, microorganisms growing in the water, etc. accumulate in the wet bulb, causing a drop in water vapor pressure. In addition, the absorption of moisture due to capillary action is affected, and it is not possible to ensure a good level of self-replenishment of moisture over a long period of time in order to accurately measure humidity.

ある。 Conventionally, a proposal has been made as an improvement to the above-mentioned type of wet bulb, namely, placing a water tank below the wet bulb, and placing a water tank above the water tank to the side of the wet bulb. and the upper part of the wet bulb wick by a wick extending between them, and the lower water tank and the lower part of the wet bulb wick by a wick extending between them. (Utility Model Publication No. 45-13822), the water supply system as a whole is a stagnant water type, so the water is almost in a stagnant state. There are problems with the accumulation of dirt and proliferating microorganisms, which are not much different from those of the prior art, and the water practically flows out from the upper water tank to the lower water tank due to the siphon phenomenon, that is, the water supply The system may become the same structure as in the conventional typical one.

A water suction part 3 hanging down from this, and a drainage part 9 extending downward from this on the other end side of the wet bulb cover part 1 are provided, and the wet bulb cover part 1, water suction part 3, and drainage part 9 are connected together. The overall shape is a downward U-shape. The water suction part 3 has a lower end immersed in the water of the water supply pan 4,
Due to the capillary action, water is sucked up from the water supply pan 4 and the wet bulb cover 1 is moistened. The water level of the water supply pan 4 is maintained constant by adjusting the amount of water from the water supply pipe 8 using a float 6 of a water level regulator 5 and a water supply nozzle 7. The above drainage section 9
The lower end thereof is located below the water level of the water supply pan at a location other than the water supply pan 4, and water is allowed to drip or flow down from the lower end.

(Fig. 3), or by bringing the lower end of the drainage pan 10 into contact with the drain pan 10.
Instead, a drain pan 10'' of a water storage type (preferably a constant water level holding type) with a horizontal drain pipe 11'' at the bottom and whose water level is lower than the water level of the water supply pan 4 is adopted, and the water is drained into the water of the drain pan. It may also be done by dipping the lower end of the portion 9 (FIG. 4).
