Conventionally, this type of air conditioner has had a structure as shown in FIG. In other words, the air conditioner main body 1 is
Suspended within the ceiling by hanging bolts 3 fixed to the ceiling slab surface 2, a ventilation passage A formed within the air conditioner main body 1 includes a blower 4, a heat exchanger 5,
An air filter 6 and a drain pan 15 are incorporated. On the other hand, a panel frame 11 having an air outlet 9 and an air inlet 10 communicating with the ventilation path A is brought into contact with the lower surface of the ceiling 8 around the edge of the ceiling opening 7, and a mounting screw (not shown) is attached to the air conditioner main body 1. It is attached by. Further, an inspection panel 12 is attached to the inside of this panel frame 11, that is, one side of the suction port 10, with mounting screws 14 via a panel mounting bracket 13, and the other side of the inspection panel 12 is attached with a hinge 16. It is locked. In such a configuration, indoor air is supplied to the suction port 1 by the blower 4.
0, passes through an air filter 6, undergoes heat exchange in a heat exchanger 5, and is blown out again into the room from an outlet 9 to air-condition the room. However, when the air filter 6 becomes clogged due to long-term operation, cleaning the drain pan 15 that receives condensed water from the heat exchanger 5, and cleaning the dust that has adhered to the heat exchanger 5 is necessary. maintenance is required. These operations are performed by removing the mounting screws 14 and opening the inspection panel 12, but the work is done at high places, and opening and closing the inspection panel 12 using tools is difficult and dangerous. In addition, if the inspection panel 12 is simply opened, cleaning of the heat exchanger 5 located in the upper part of the inspection panel becomes a hindrance, making the task difficult. Furthermore, since the mounting screws 14 are exposed on the panel surface, this is not desirable in terms of design.

This invention was made in order to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks. An embodiment of this invention will be described below. FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of a panel portion of an air conditioner that is an embodiment of this invention, and the main body 1 of the air conditioner is omitted because it is the same as the conventional one. As shown in FIG. 2, a pair of locking pins 1 are provided on both side walls of the suction port 10 in the panel frame 11 at a predetermined distance from each other.
7 and 18 are provided to protrude inward from the suction port 10, respectively, and on both side walls of the inspection panel 12, there are locking pins 17 and 18 at positions corresponding to the pair of locking pins 17 and 18.
A pair of L-shaped slits 19, 2 in opposite directions
0 is formed. And L-shaped slit 1
A torsion spring 23 is attached near one of 9 and 20 by a mounting screw 23a. 3 is a perspective view of the inspection panel 12, and FIGS. 5 and 6 are enlarged views showing the main parts of FIG. 3. As shown in FIG. Vertical portion 20 extending vertically from the upper edge of 12a

Further, at the end of the horizontal portion 19a of one of the slits 19, a locking portion 21 consisting of a groove extending in the vertical direction continuously from the horizontal portion 19a is formed in order to position the inspection panel 12 and prevent it from moving. At the same time, a torsion spring 23 extends across this locking portion 21. Therefore, when installing the inspection panel 12, first align the slit 20 of the inspection panel 12 and the locking pin 18, and push up the inspection panel 12 from the bottom side of the air conditioner main body 1. At the position where the slit 20 and the locking pin 18 match, push up the other side of the inspection panel 12. At this time, the stopper portion 20c protruding into the slit 20
When the locking pins 18 are moved in the opposite direction to the position where they abut, the pair of locking pins 17 and 18 pass through the vertical portions 19a and 20a of the slits 19 and 20 and engage with the horizontal portions 19b and 20b, It is locked by the elasticity of the torsion spring 23. Then, the inspection panel is further pushed upward against the elasticity of the twist spring 23 and moved in the direction opposite to the locking portion 21, until the locking pin 17 hits the end of the horizontal portion 19a of the slit 19. If the inspection panel 12 is released in this state, the locking pin 17 will fit into the locking portion 21, and the inspection panel 12 will be moved by the elasticity of the stopper portion 22 formed by providing the locking portion 21 and the torsion spring 23. The suction port 1 remains fixed in the horizontal direction and is securely held in that position, as shown by the dotted chain in Figure 4.
It is attached so as to close part of the 0. On the other hand, when opening the inspection panel 12, the inspection panel 1
2 by pushing it up against the elasticity of the twisting spring 23,
The locking portion 21 and the locking pin 17 are unlocked and moved in the opposite direction to the above, and at the position where the locking pin 17 and the vertical portion 19a of the slit 19 match, the locking pin 18 and the slit 20 are aligned. Since it is in an engaged state with the horizontal part 20a, if the inspection panel 12 is rotated in that position, the locking pin 17 will engage with the vertical part 19 of the slit 19.
When the inspection panel 12 is removed from the slit 20b, the inspection panel 12 is locked at the end of the horizontal portion 20b of the slit 20 by the locking pin 18, and becomes open as shown by the solid line in FIG. Furthermore, when the inspection panel 12 is to be removed, the locking pin 17 is
is removed from the slit 19, the inspection panel 12 is moved in the opposite direction to the locking portion 21, and the inspection panel is lowered to the position where the locking pin 18 and the vertical portion 20a of the slit 20 match. good. In the above embodiment, the locking portion 21 and the torsion spring 23 are provided in the slit 19, but if they are also provided in the slit 20, the inspection panel 12
The retention of is stable. Also, the pitch between the locking pins 17 and 18 and the vertical portions 19a and 2 of the slits 19 and 20 are
If the pitch between 0a is the same, the inspection panel 12
Attachment and detachment operations become even easier. Further, the locking pins 17 and 18 are not necessarily limited to pins, but may be any pins that protrude into the suction port 10.

As described above, this invention has a pair of approximately L-shaped slits formed in opposite directions on both sides of the inspection panel, a torsion spring attached near one of the slits, and an inlet from both sides of the suction port. The inspection panel is attached and detached or opened and closed by engaging and disengaging a pair of protrusions that protrude in the opposite direction, so the inspection panel can be attached and detached or opened and closed without using any tools. By providing a stopper portion in the shaped slit, it is possible to prevent the inspection panel from falling during installation work, and the inspection panel can be reliably locked by the torsion spring, ensuring safety when working at heights.

Furthermore, since there are no mounting screws or hinges on the inspection panel that are conspicuous as in the past, the design is also improved.
