Conventionally, this type of air conditioner has had a structure as shown in FIG. In other words, the air conditioner main body 1 is
Suspended within the ceiling by hanging bolts 3 fixed to the ceiling slab surface 2, a ventilation passage A formed within the air conditioner main body 1 includes a blower 4, a heat exchanger 5,
An air filter 6 and a drain pan 15 are incorporated. On the other hand, on the lower surface of the ceiling 8 around the ceiling opening 7, an air outlet 9 and an inlet 1 communicating with the ventilation path A are provided.
0, and is attached to the air conditioner body 1 with mounting screws (not shown). Further, an inspection panel 12 is attached to the inside of this panel frame 11, that is, one side of the suction port 10, with mounting screws 14 via a panel mounting bracket 13, and the other side of the inspection panel 12 is attached with a hinge 16. It is locked. In such a configuration, indoor air is supplied to the suction port 10 by the blower 4.
The air is sucked into the air, passes through the air filter 6, undergoes heat exchange with the heat exchanger 5, and is blown out into the room again through the outlet 9, thereby air-conditioning the room. However, due to long-term operation, the 6th air filter became clogged and had to be replaced.
Maintenance such as cleaning dirt accumulated on the drain pan 15 that receives condensed water in the heat exchanger 5 during cooling, and cleaning dirt adhering to the heat exchanger 5 is required. These operations are performed by removing the mounting screws 14 and opening the inspection panel 12, but since the work is done at height, opening and closing the inspection panel 12 using tools is difficult and dangerous. In addition, if only the inspection panel 12 is opened, the heat exchanger 5 located at the top
The open inspection panels obstructed cleaning and other work, making the work difficult. Furthermore, since the mounting screws 14 are exposed on the panel surface, this is not desirable in terms of design.

This invention was made to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks. An embodiment of this invention will be described below. FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of a panel portion of an air conditioner that is an embodiment of this invention, and the main body 1 of the air conditioner is omitted because it is the same as the conventional one. As shown in FIG. 2, a pair of locking pins 17 and 18 are provided on both side walls of the suction port 10 in the panel frame at a predetermined distance from each other.
are provided to protrude inward from the suction port 10, respectively, and a pair of L-shaped slits 19 are provided on both side walls of the inspection panel 12 at positions corresponding to a pair of locking pins 17 and 18, facing in opposite directions. 20 is formed. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the inspection panel 12, and as shown in the figure, the slits 19 and 20 are formed by vertical portions 19a and 20a extending vertically from the upper edge of the side wall 12 of the inspection panel 12, and these vertical portions. 19

Further, at the end of the horizontal portion 19a of one of the slits 19, a locking portion 21 consisting of a groove extending in the vertical direction continuously from the horizontal portion 19a is formed to position the inspection panel 12 and prevent it from moving. . Therefore,
When installing the inspection panel 12, first align the slit 20 of the inspection panel 12 and the locking pin 18, and push up the inspection panel 12 from the bottom side of the air conditioner main body 1 to close the locking part 21. direction, push up the other side of the inspection panel 12 at the position where the slit 20 and the locking pin 18 match, and move it slightly in the opposite direction to the above, the pair of locking pins 17 and 18 will be removed from the slit. It passes through the vertical parts 19a, 20a of 19, 20 and engages with the horizontal parts 19b, 20b. Then, push the inspection panel upward a little and move it in the opposite direction to the locking part 21, and release the inspection panel 12 with the locking pin 17 in contact with the end of the horizontal part 19a of the slit 19, and it will be locked. The locking pin 17 is fitted into the locking portion 21, and the inspection panel 12 becomes immovable in the horizontal direction due to the stopper portion 22 formed by providing the locking portion 21 and its own weight, and is held at that position. It is attached so as to partially close the suction port 10, as shown by the dotted chain in the figure. On the other hand, when opening the inspection panel 12, push up the inspection panel 12 to release the lock between the locking part 21 and the locking pin 17, move it in the opposite direction to the above, and remove the locking pin 17 and the slit 19. At the position where the vertical portion 19a of
and the horizontal portion 20a of the slit 20 are in an engaged state, so if the inspection panel 12 is rotated in that position, the locking pin 17 will be separated from the vertical portion 19b of the slit 19, and the inspection panel 12 will be removed from the locking pin. 18
The horizontal portion 20b of the slit 20 is locked at the end thereof, and is in an open state as shown by the solid line in FIG. Furthermore, when removing the inspection panel 12, the locking pin 17 is removed from the slit 19 as described above, and then the inspection panel 12 is moved in the opposite direction to the locking portion 21, and the locking pin 18
The inspection panel may be lowered at the position where the vertical part 20a of the slit 20 and the vertical part 20a of the slit 20 match. In the above embodiment, a case has been described in which the locking portion 21 is provided in the slit 19, but if the locking portion 21 is also provided in the slit 20, the inspection panel 12 can be held stably. Also, the pitch between the locking pins 17 and 18 and the slits 19 and 20
If the pitches between the vertical portions 19a and 20a are made the same, the operation of attaching and detaching the inspection panel 12 will be made easier.

さらに、係止ピン17,18は必ずしもピンに

Further, the locking pins 17 and 18 are not necessarily limited to pins, but may be any pins that protrude into the suction port 10.

As described above, in this invention, a pair of approximately L-shaped slits formed in opposite directions on both side walls of the inspection panel and a pair of protrusions protruding inward from both side walls of the suction port engage and disengage. Since the inspection panel is designed to be attached/detached or opened/closed, the inspection panel can be attached/detached or opened/closed without using any tools, thereby ensuring safety when working at heights.

Furthermore, since there are no mounting screws or hinges on the inspection panel that are conspicuous as in the past, the design is also improved.
