交換機を連通させる冷媒回路と、 前記圧縮機を駆動するエンジンと、 該エンジンに、前記室外側熱交換機を経由して
冷却水を供給するエンジン冷却水回路と、 から成り、 暖房時には前記冷却水回路を通過するエンジン
冷却水が室外側熱交換機用熱源となるエンジン駆
動式空気調和装置において、 前記圧縮機と前記エンジンとの間にクラツチが
配設され、該クラツチを介して前記圧縮機を前記
エンジンに作用的に連結させると共に、 前記室外側熱交換機の除霜時期を検知する、除
霜時期検知装置が設けられ、該除霜時期検知装置
から除霜時期検知信号が出力された時には前記ク
ラツチを動作させ前記圧縮機と前記エンジンとの
連結を解除せしめる、 エンジン駆動式空気調和装置。
