Claims (1)
流出口を有するシエルと、このシエル内に装着さ
れ、中心部分に暖機性の小さい触媒を、外周部に
暖機性の大きい触媒を有する触媒本体と、この触
媒本体の排気ガス流出側に配置され、且つ触媒本
体の端面中心部分を除く他の端面部分に離接する
シヤツタ板と、排気ガスの温度に応じて変形し上
記シヤツタ板を触媒本体の端面に圧接及び離間さ
せるスプリングとから構成したことを特徴とする
触媒コンバータ。 (2) スプリングを排気ガス温度が低いとき伸長
し、排気ガス温度が高いとき収縮する形状記憶合
金材で構成したことを特徴とする実用新案登録請
