  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 透光性セラミツク管１の一方の端部に、電極２
    を具備する導電性サーメツト製の端キヤツプ３ａ
    を透光性セラミツク管１と一体焼結し、又、他方
    の端部に同じく導電性サーメツト製の端キヤツプ
    ３ｂを接着剤４で気密に固定した発光管を有する
    金属蒸気放電灯において、 ランプ垂直点灯時に、下側電極コイル部付近の
    発光管内径ｄ２が、上側電極コイル部付近の発光
    管内径ｄ１より大きいことを特徴とする金属蒸気
    放電灯。
