  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 透光性アルミナ管からなる発光管の少なくとも
    一方の端部を、電極及びリード棒を埋設した導電
    性のサーメツトエンドキヤツプで閉塞し、前記エ
    ンドキヤツプの発光管内表面に電気的絶縁層を設
    けてなる放電灯において、 前記エンドキヤツプの発光管内面を突状に形成
    すると共に、前記電気的絶縁層の厚さを１mm以下
    としたことを特徴とする金属蒸気放電灯。
