There are two types of raking devices of this type: central drive type and peripheral drive type, the latter of which is used in large-diameter sedimentation basins. However, conventional peripheral-driven scraping devices have a drive device with an electric motor installed on the side of the scraping rod that rotates within the sedimentation basin, and because this drive device rotates, the current collection mechanism becomes expensive. At the same time, there was a problem that there was a risk of electric shock and leakage, and that there was a lot of damage.

Therefore, a device according to Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-31361 was proposed, and the above-mentioned problems were solved. However, in this device, the chain and gears that rotate the scraper are disposed at the bottom of the sedimentation tank, and the drive shaft of the gears is supported by a bearing below the water surface. Therefore, a special watertight bearing must be used, which not only increases costs, but also causes great water pressure to be applied to the bearing, making it difficult to maintain sealing performance and to repair or replace it.

This invention further improves the device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 53-31361, prevents the risk of electric shock and leakage, and also has a simple structure and can be manufactured at low cost without using special watertight bearings. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a peripheral drive type raking device that has excellent durability and is easy to manage and repair.

In Figures 1 to 4, reference numeral 1 denotes a peripheral wall of a final sedimentation tank for sewage treatment, and a guide 2 having an L-shaped cross section is fixed along the inner peripheral surface of the upper part of this peripheral wall 1. A shoe 3 is fixed on the bottom surface 2a. An endless chain 4 consisting of a vertical roller chain is interposed between the peripheral wall 1 and the guide 2. A protruding portion 1a is provided in a part of the circumferential direction of the peripheral wall 1, and the protruding portion 1a is provided in the outer circumferential direction.
A drive device 6 consisting of an electric motor with a speed reducer is installed on the support plate 5 integrally provided on the top, and a chain sprocket 7 is fitted onto a rotating shaft 6a vertically provided on the drive device 6. The endless chains 4 are meshed. A notch is formed in the vertical part 2b of the guide 2 at a position corresponding to the protrusion 1a, and a support roller 8 is disposed in this notch to face the sprocket 7.
is rotatably supported by a vertical shaft 8a, and the vertical shaft 8a is fixed to the peripheral wall 1 via a bracket 9. Attachments 10 are fixed to the endless chain 4 so as to protrude upward at angular intervals of 180 degrees, and these attachments 10 have columns 12 erected on the outer end of a rake rod 11 made of a rake. The upper end bent portions 12a of the two are pivotally connected to each other. The inner ends of the scraping rods 11, 11 are integrally connected via a connecting portion 18, and this connecting portion 18 is rotatably supported at the center of the bottom wall 14 of the sedimentation basin via a central pin shaft 13. There is. A recess 14a is formed in the center of the bottom wall 14, and a precipitated sludge discharge pipe 15 is opened in the recess 14a. In FIG. 1, 16 is a bracket that supports the guide 2 on the peripheral wall 1, and 17 is a centerwell.

In the scraping device of the embodiment configured as described above, the rollers of the endless chain 4 are supported by the support rollers 8 through the chain sprocket 7 by the driving of the drive device 6.
is rotated so that the attachment 10 and the strut 1
The raking rod 11 rotates gently while slidingly contacting the bottom wall 14 of the sedimentation basin via the raking rod 2. Due to the rotation of the raking rod 11, the sludge settled on the bottom wall 14 of the sedimentation tank is collected in the recess 14a of the bottom wall 14 and discharged from the discharge pipe 15. In this case, the endless chain 4 rotates with its roller guided by the vertical portion 2b of the guide 2 and its lower end supported by the shoe 3.

As explained above, the sedimentation tank raking device according to this invention has a drive device fixed on the peripheral wall of the sedimentation tank, so it does not require a complicated current collection mechanism unlike the conventional rotating drive device. There is no risk of electric shock or leakage, and there is little damage. Also, an endless chain is rotated through a sprocket driven by the drive device, and this chain is guided by a guide provided along the upper peripheral wall of the sedimentation basin. So,
Furthermore, since the scraping rod was connected to the endless chain,
Even if these scraping rods are rotated by peripheral drive,
Since there is no drive device on the rotating side, it is lightweight, so the torque is small, and the reduction gear of the drive device is small, making it cheaper than conventional peripheral drive type or central drive type. In addition, the endless chain is installed on the upper part of the peripheral wall of the sedimentation basin, and the upper end of the column installed on the raking rod is connected to this endless chain, and the drive of the endless chain is connected to the drive fixed on the peripheral wall. Since this is done using a sprocket installed on the rotating shaft that is vertically installed on the device, the bearing of the rotating shaft is not installed underwater, so there is no need for a special watertight bearing, which reduces costs and compensation. , considerations such as exchange are eliminated.
