Regarding the production of such railway vehicle structures, Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 59
The method described in Japanese Patent No.-11957 and the like are known. In other words, the horizontal members, which were conventionally separated, are used as pull-through members, and a notch is provided at the position of the corresponding side post through which the cross members can be inserted, and the orthogonal side posts and cross members are made into one piece. As a through material, we aim to reduce the number of parts, reduce man-hours, and improve manufacturing accuracy.

In the above-mentioned conventional technology, as described above, a notch through which the cross member can be inserted is formed in the side post, and the cross member is formed as a pull-through member. However, in the above configuration, a positioning jig for manufacturing is required in order to align the side columns and the cross members, that is, to match the connection points, and sufficient consideration must be given to improving the alignment between these members. Therefore, the alignment work required a lot of man-hours. There was also a concern that it would be difficult to achieve sufficient accuracy in joining each member.

The above object is to form a notch in which the longitudinal members and the cross members in the railway vehicle structure are made into threaded members, and the opposing members fit into the corresponding intersections of the respective members, and each side end surface coincides with the other,
This is achieved by fitting each member in the notch.

During the manufacture of a railway vehicle structure, if the joining points or intersections of stringers and cross members do not match exactly, distortions occur in the outer skin, especially in curved structural parts, and the appearance deteriorates. Therefore, as described above, by providing notches corresponding to the intersections of the stringers and the cross members, and fitting at the notches, accurate alignment can be achieved.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. In the figure, numeral 1 indicates the leading part of the leading carriage of the railway vehicle. Reference numeral 2 denotes a transverse rib, that is, a transverse member, which is arranged in the circumferential direction and forms the leading portion l. Reference numeral 3 denotes a longitudinal bone, that is, a longitudinal member, which is arranged perpendicularly to the transverse bone 2. Note that the cross member 2 and the vertical ribs 3 are all integrally formed without being divided. Reference numeral 4 denotes a notch formed at the intersection of the horizontal bone 2 with the vertical bone 3, the width of which corresponds to the thickness of the vertical bone 3, and the depth of the notch corresponding to the thickness of the vertical bone 3.
The strength of itself and the strength after joining with the vertical bone 3 shall be ensured sufficiently. 5 is a notch formed at the intersection of the vertical bone 3 with the horizontal bone 2, the width of which corresponds to the thickness of the horizontal bone 2, and the depth of which corresponds to the strength of the vertical bone 3 itself. Also, sufficient strength can be ensured after joining with the transverse bone 2. Further, the depths of the notches 4 and 5 are determined so that when the horizontal ribs 2 and the vertical ribs 3 are fitted together, the joint surfaces of the respective outer plates coincide with each other. That is, when the horizontal bone 2 and the vertical bone 3 have the same size, the sum of the depths of the notches 4 and 5 becomes a length corresponding to the width dimension of the horizontal bone 2 or the vertical bone 3.

Next, the production status of the horizontal ribs 2 and vertical ribs 3 themselves will be explained. First, a plate material having a thickness necessary for each of the above-mentioned parts is prepared. This plate material is manufactured by cutting and cutting it into the shape of the horizontal ribs 2 or vertical ribs 3. That is, the horizontal ribs 2 or the vertical ribs 3 are manufactured by cutting a flat plate into a shape that is identical to the installed condition of each member. Therefore, there is no work such as bending and shaping each bone member as in the past, and notch portions, curvatures, etc. can be formed accurately in the horizontal bones 2 or vertical bones 3, and the manufacturing work can also be done by skill. It is not necessary and can be easily manufactured using a simple process such as a numerically controlled cutter.

The horizontal bones 2 and vertical bones 3 are manufactured as described above, and the corresponding notches 4 and 5 of the horizontal bones 2 and vertical bones 3 are fitted. Then, the horizontal bones 2 and the vertical bones 3 are joined by welding the intersection corners. In addition, at the joint between the transverse bone 2 and the vertical bone 3, the respective outer plate joining surfaces coincide with each other, so the outer plate is joined to this.

According to such a configuration, as described above, it is easy to manufacture the horizontal bones 2 and the vertical bones 3, and the dimensional accuracy is good, and also the positioning of the horizontal bones 2 and the vertical bones 3 can be easily performed in the work of joining the horizontal bones 2 and the vertical bones 3. Simply fit the respective notches 4 and 5 (this can be done accurately with a very simple operation.Furthermore, as mentioned above, the intersection points of the horizontal bones 2 and vertical bones 3 can be accurately aligned). At the same time, the joint parts of each outer panel match accurately, and the outer periphery is accurately formed with the horizontal bones 2 and vertical bones 3 joined, so it can also be used as a mold for conventional outer panel molding. Therefore, with the horizontal bones 2 and vertical bones 3 joined together, the outer periphery can be used as a gauge and the outer panel can be molded accordingly, eliminating the need for conventionally used metal molds or wooden molds. .

In addition, since neither the transverse bone 2 nor the longitudinal bone is divided at the intersection, the number of parts can be reduced, and at these joints, some parts are integrally formed without being completely divided. It is also advantageous in terms of strength.
