However, there is a wind molding 1a in the gap between the window glass 8 and the body panel 9...as shown in FIG. If the gap 10 is too narrow as shown in FIG. 3, the insertion part 21 will get stuck due to the protruding fins 20 on both sides and cannot be fully inserted, causing the molding body 18 to float up. There is a problem with it becoming stuck.

An insertion part 5 having a hook-shaped cross section, that is, consisting of a vertical part 3 and a hook part 4, is provided on the back surface of the strip-shaped molding body 2 in a longitudinal direction, and a support piece 6 is provided at the base end of the insertion part 5. is provided to protrude toward the hook portion 4. Note that a small protrusion 7 is formed at the tip of the hook portion 4 in an upward direction.

Therefore, when the wind molding 1 is installed in the gap between the periphery of the window glass 8 and the body panel 9 of an automobile as shown in FIG. 1, the gap between the window glass 8 and the body panel 9 as shown in FIG. 10 is narrow, the hook part 4 of the insertion part 5 is inserted in such a way that it is folded together with the support part 6, so that the insertion part 5 is completely inserted into the gap 10, and the insertion part 5 is inserted inside the dam 12 on the panel flange 11. The adhesive 13, the hook portion 4, and the vertical portion 3 can be sufficiently bonded to each other, and the wind molding 1 can be reliably attached.

When the gap 10 is narrow, the tip of the support part 6 pushes the middle of the side surface of the hook part 4 in FIG. 6, so depending on the design dimensions and materials of the support part 6 and the hook part 4, In some cases, the adhesive 13 leaks due to insufficient pressing force against the glass 8. In such a case, it is preferable to form a small upward protrusion 7 at the tip of the hook 4. That is, the small protrusion 7 at the tip of the hook 4 comes into contact with the side surface of the support 6, and the reaction force strongly presses the tip of the hook 4 against the window glass 8.
Do not cause insufficient contact force.

Furthermore, if the gap 10 between the window glass 8 and the body panel 9 is too wide as shown in FIG. The wind molding 1 remains stable even when the side edges 2a and 2b of the molding main body 2 are slightly engaged with the window glass 8 and the body panel 9, respectively, because the wind molding 1 is in a loose state and is bonded to the adhesive 13 in a stable state. As mentioned above, this invention is applicable to automobile window glass 8.
In a wind molding installed to fill a gap 10 between a peripheral edge and a body panel 9, an insertion part 5 having a hook-shaped cross section is provided protruding from the back surface of a strip-shaped molding main body 2 along the longitudinal direction, and a proximal end of the insertion part 5 is provided. A support piece 6 is provided protruding toward the hook portion 4 of the insertion portion.

According to this invention, even if the gap 10 between the window glass 8 and the body panel 9 is too narrow or wide, the insertion part 5 having a hook-shaped cross section can be reliably inserted into the gap 10, unlike the conventional case. Unlike the above, the wind molding 1 has the advantage that it can be installed reliably and stably.

8 to 10 each show other embodiments of the wind molding, and the one shown in FIG. The fins 14 are formed to protrude obliquely upward to accommodate the case where the gap 10 is designed to be larger, and a wedge-shaped protrusion 15 is provided at the lower end of the vertical portion 3. A decorative bright film 16 is provided on the molding body 2.

While the small protrusion 7 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 and 9 contacts only one side of the support portion 6, the uneven portion 17 shown in FIG. The tip of the hook part 4 touches the window glass 8 due to the reaction force when it touches several sides of the part 6 and presses it.
This makes it possible to avoid insufficient contact force.

In any of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, when the gap between the window glass and the body panel is narrow, the hook portion 4 is folded together with the support portion 6 as in FIG. 6. Also, when the gap is wide, the hook portion 4 is supported by the support portion 6 and becomes spread out, as in FIG. 7.
