[Detailed Description of the Invention] In order to streamline meter reading operations for electric meters, water meters, gas meters, etc., a pulse is emitted from the meter body at each fixed amount of usage, and this is transmitted through a lead wire to an outdoor location where meter reading is easy. Counting is done using an installed counting display device.

The present invention relates to an improvement of the above-mentioned counting display device. A conventional counting display device of this type is shown in FIG. In the figure, 1 is a counting element for counting incoming pulses, including a number wheel 11, a digit pinion 12, a motor 13, a nameplate 14, and the number wheel 11, a digit pinion 12, and a motor 1.
3. It is composed of a frame 15 that holds and connects the nameplate 14 together. 2 is a terminal for connecting a signal transmission lead wire from the meter body (not shown);
A battery 3 serves as an energy source for driving the electric motor 13 by a predetermined amount when a measurement pulse arrives. Reference numeral 4 is a synthetic resin base that is open at one end and has a groove 41 around the open end, and reference 5 is open at one end and has a protrusion 51 that fits into the groove 41 of the base 4 around the open end. and the number wheel 11 of the meter element 1
The cover is made of synthetic resin and has a reading window 52 covered with a transparent member such as glass. The cover 5 is connected to the base 4 by a hinge 6 so as to be openable and closable.

As mentioned above, the counting display device is composed of the measuring element 1, the terminal 2, the battery 3, the base 4, and the cover 5, and rotates around the cover 5 and the hinge 6.
By fitting the protrusion 51 of the cover 5 into the groove 41 of the base 4, the measuring element 1, terminal 2, and battery 3 can be isolated and protected from the external environment, and can be directly exposed outdoors without using a special storage box. It is done like this. When the above-mentioned conventional counting display device is installed outdoors, water droplets adhere to the inner surface of the reading window 52 and it becomes foggy like ground glass, which often causes problems such as the inability to read the indicated value when reading the meter. The reason for water droplets adhering to the inner surface of the reading window 52 is that since the reading window 52 is transparent, its heat ray absorption rate is lower than that of other parts of the cover 5, and its heat dissipation rate is high. This is because the temperature is less likely to rise than other parts and the temperature is lower than other parts.

That is, when the temperature of the cover 5 rises due to sunlight irradiation, the air in contact with the inner surface of the cover 5 is warmed, and as a result, as shown by the arrow in FIG. A warm air current is created that gradually warms up and rises.

When this warm airflow touches the reading window 52 whose temperature is lower than the surroundings, it is rapidly cooled down, and as a result, moisture in the warm airflow condenses on the inner surface of the reading window 52.

The present invention provides a new counting display device that can be installed alone outdoors without causing fogging of the reading window 52 as in the conventional counting display device.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. 2. The differences from Figure 1 are base 4,
Each of the covers 5 is provided with a partition, that is, partitions 42 and 53 as shown in the second figure, and the ends of the partitions 42 and 53 overlap vertically when the cover 5 is placed over the base 4, and 5. The point is that the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening and closing of the opening of the opening of the opening of the opening 5.

In such a configuration, when sunlight is irradiated and warm air flows upward while passing through the inside of the cover 5, the partitions 42 and 5 are separated as shown by the arrows in the figure.
3 and are confined in the lower space, so that the reading window 52 does not come into contact with the warm rising air current. Therefore, no dew condensation occurs on the inner surface of the reading window 52, and the reading window 52 is not clouded with water droplets, so that the meter can be read at any time.

That is, according to the present invention, in order to prevent fogging of the reading window 52, a special member such as a gasket is used to make the counting display device completely airtight, and
Since there is no need to take measures such as sealing low-humidity dry air inside, it is not only cheaper, but also the effect does not disappear even if the cover 5 is opened or closed, so replacing the battery 3 can be done at the installation site. It has various effects such as being able to be performed without restrictions.
