Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dyeing of a fixing roller made of a silicone rubber and to extend the life of the roller so as to attain durability corresponding to >=20,000 sheets of copies by using a specified rhodamine type dye. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the rhodamine having the structure of formula 1, preferably, in an amount of 1.0-2.0wt% of the total binder, alone or in combination with other dyes or pigments not dyeing the rollers. As the dyes and pigments not dyeing the rollers, azo dyes and the like are enumerated, and as the binder to by used, unsaturated polyesters are especially effective.

本発明に用いるローダミン系染料の含有量は、全バイン
ダーに対して0.1−10.0wt%の範囲で可能であ
るが、T1しくは1.0〜2゜wt%である。着色剤と
して1本発明で用いるローダミン系染料を単独とし用い
ても、あるいは他のローラーを染色しない染顔料との併
用も可能である。ローラーを染色しない染顔料としては
アゾ第14、ローダミン染料、を代表として各種染才゛
Iのレーキ顔料、キナクリドン系顔料、アントラキノン
系染料、チオイ、ンジゴ系顔旧等がある。
