Claims (1)
- 体積可変型感温部材の体積変化に応じて軸方向
に進退変位せしめられる軸部材と、該軸部材に取
付けられて該軸部材の進退変位に伴なつて開閉動
される弁体と、上記軸部材を摺動自在に支承する
ガイド部材とを有するサーモスタツトをエンジン
の冷却水通路中に配置するとともに、エンジン冷
却水を上記サーモスタツトの軸部材の軸心方向に
直交する方向から該軸部材側に向けて流通させる
ようにしたエンジンにおいて、上記サーモスタツ
トの上記軸部材よりも冷却水上流側位置に、上記
軸部材側に向かつて流通する冷却水流を該軸部材
の外周側に偏向案内する如く作用する偏向案内壁
が設けられていることを特徴とするエンジンの冷
却水通路構造。
