Conventional corner cushioning packaging materials made of synthetic resin foam include those that are molded into a three-dimensional shape from the beginning, or those that are formed by cutting a block-shaped foam into the desired corner shape. However, products that are formed into a three-dimensional shape from the beginning are troublesome to mold, and products that are formed by cutting are uneconomical due to a large amount of material loss. In addition, all three-dimensional shapes are stored and transported when necessary to be used at the packaging site, so they are very bulky and difficult to handle when transported and stored before use. It was difficult.

Therefore, in this invention, all of the above-mentioned disadvantages of the conventional methods can be overcome by making handling such as transportation and storage easier before use.The structure is such that the three-sided cushioning packaging material for the corners is made of synthetic resin foam. The buffer packaging materials are formed integrally in an L-shape on the same plane, and the boundary where the cushioning packaging materials are connected is thin and has a groove such as a V-shaped groove. The cushioning packaging material on these three sides is formed so that it can be separated, and the cushioning packaging material on these three sides is formed with recesses or protrusions that can be assembled together. The concave portion and convex portion of the cushioning packaging material on the two sides to be raised among the three sides of the cushioning packaging material are formed in a tapered shape that expands outward. It will be done.

0 is a two-sided cushioning packaging material having a surface serving as another raised surface, and these three-sided cushioning packaging materials 10, 2
0.30 is a foam made of synthetic resin such as expanded polystyrene, and L is placed on the same plane as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
They are formed integrally in a continuous manner. The mutual boundary parts 40, 40, which are the above-mentioned continuous parts, are formed thinner than the other parts, and groove parts 41, 41, such as V-shaped grooves, are formed. The boundary portions 40, 4 are thinly formed in this way and have groove portions 41, 41.
The buffer packaging materials 10, 20, and 30 can be separated from each other. Reference numerals 11, 21, and 31 are main surface portions on the side that come into contact with the contents during packaging. Also 12,2
2, 13, 33 and 24, 34 are concave portions or convex portions formed on opposite sides of the cushioning packaging materials 10, 20, 30 so that they can be assembled together, especially on the side to be raised after separation. buffer packaging material 20,30
The concave portion 24 and the convex portion 34 are formed in a tapered shape as shown in the figure, and the direction in which they can fit together is specified.
It is controlled so that it is difficult to come off from the other direction, so that the assembled and fitted state is more secure.

At the time of fitting and assembly, the portion corresponding to the ridge corner or its vicinity is formed lower than the main surface portions 11, 21, and 31 of the cushioning packaging material, and there is a gap C (the third corner) between each corner of the contents (packaged item) A. (see Figure 6) is left open to improve the cushioning properties. This lowered portion is designated as L.

In addition to the foamed polystyrene mentioned above, the foam forming the cushioning packaging materials 10, 20, and 30 may be made of foamed synthetic resin particles made of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, copolymers mainly composed of these, etc. It is suitable that the foam is made of a foam that is heated, expanded, and fused to each other in a chamber, and is particularly made of a polyolefin resin and a polystyrene resin. Graft-bonded expanded particles, such as polyethylene particles, are obtained by absorbing styrene monomer into the core and polymerizing the styrene monomer within the core, and then adding a blowing agent to the particles. The graft bonding portion is 1% or more of the total amount of polyolefin resin and polystyrene resin [Product name:
A foam obtained by heat-expanding piocelan (grafting rate: 4%, manufactured by Sekisui Plastics Co., Ltd.) and fusing them together is preferred.

This invention is constructed as described above, and before use, the three-sided cushioning packaging materials 10, 20, and 30 are arranged in an L-shape on the same plane when stored or transported. Therefore, it is convenient because many can be piled up and handled with low bulk. Then, the three parts are separated from the boundary parts 40, 40 which are formed when used as a corner cushioning packaging material and have groove parts 41, 41 such as V-shaped grooves, and the concave parts 12, 13, 24 and the convex parts 22, 33, 34 and are assembled together to form a three-dimensional state as shown in FIG. 5 (FIG. 6).

In addition, with this invention, it is extremely easy to form the low part L to create the gap C, which in conventional three-dimensional corner cushioning packaging materials requires the use of a special mold or subsequent cutting. It is very convenient because it can be formed by

Therefore, according to this invention, it can be molded in a continuous one-piece state, and subsequent handling can be done by convenient handling in a low bulk state before use as described above, and by easy separation and fitting at the time of use. It exhibits unprecedented practical effects in terms of assembly and the like.
