不足を次工程の縫合部に運ばれる前の底たたき部
において検査することができ、ただちに重量不足
の原因を調べ、重量不足の再発を未然に防ぐとと
もに、被包装物の補充充填を容易にすることがで
きる。そして、自動包装機を経過して袋口を閉じ
た後に、重量不足を検出していた従来の作業と比
べ、再び袋の口を開けて補充充填を行うことがな
くなり、作業能率が一段と向上する。また、エア
ースプリングは1個で計量不足を検出すると共に
底たたき時の振動を緩和することができ、別に振
動を緩和する部材を要することがなくなり、エア
ースプリングを調整するだけで包装袋の重量及び
振動緩和への対応が同時に可能となる。
