A branch pipe that branches from a vertical water supply pipe that extends vertically from the main water supply pipe extends to multiple drinking water tanks placed in livestock holding cages on each level on the deck, and the water supply to the tanks is provided in the branch pipes. This is done using a manual opening/closing valve.

However, it is difficult to always maintain the water in the tank at the optimum water level using a manually operated valve.

When the float floats up, the water supply hole is closed by two metal foil plates and a valve plate that overlap on the top surface of the float, and the two metal foil plates and the valve plate are pivotally connected with a pin. When trying to increase the water volume by raising the water level in the tank, the metal foil plates are removed one after another, the valve lift is increased by the thickness of the metal foil plate, and the water volume is increased accordingly.
In addition, when rubber plugs are used for drain ports, in livestock transport ships with a large number of tanks installed on each floor, it is very troublesome to pull out and fit the plugs in when cleaning the tanks, and if the plugs are not fitted loosely, water leaks may occur.

る。 The present invention was developed in view of the above, and consists of placing livestock cages in parallel on each floor of a multi-layered structure built on the upper deck of a ship, while the main water supply pipes are installed horizontally on the upper deck. In a water supply system for a livestock transport ship, the water supply system is provided with a vertical water supply pipe that rises up, penetrates each floor, extends upward, and is branched from the same pipe to open into a drinking water tank provided in each livestock holding cage on each floor. The opening opens downward into one of a plurality of drinking water tanks connected by a connecting pipe, and the opening is provided with a valve shell body having a water supply hole, and the opening opens upward and downward into the drinking water tank according to fluctuations in the tank water level. A valve body is provided on the upper surface of a float that corresponds to the valve shell body, and one end is connected to the drain port provided at the bottom of the drinking water tank, and the other end is connected to the highest water level of the tank. To provide a water supply device for a livestock transport ship, which is equipped with a hose that is located slightly above a set water level and is easily hooked onto and removed from the water tank.

Vertical water pipe 1 out of 3 connected drinking water tanks
The tank closest to No. 1 is opened. Reference numeral 15 denotes a float valve that controls water supply from the water supply pipe 13, and a float protection frame 18 whose tip end of an arm 19 that projects from one end of the float 16 is fixed to the lower end of the water supply pipe 13.
The float is pivotally attached to the float mounting plate 18' by a horizontal pin 20, and the float can swing up and down about the pin 20. The opening at the tip of the water supply pipe 13 is the arm 1
As shown in FIG. 6, a valve shell body 31 is mounted on the arm 19 and has a water supply hole 29 and a valve chamber 30 having a larger diameter than the water supply hole 29 following the water supply hole 29. A valve body 17 having a convex cross section is provided in the valve chamber 3.
It is loosely contained at 0. The valve protrusion 32 is loosely inserted into the water supply hole 29. Note that 33 indicates a valve seat.

A hose 24 of a required length is connected to the drain port 23, and its length is such that when the hose is raised upward, its tip reaches a little above the maximum set water level 25. The tank water level is not filled to the brim on a livestock transport ship, and the maximum water level is determined by the type and size of the livestock, the movement of the ship, etc. In the present invention, the length of the hose 24 is determined based on the highest set water level of the tank water surface.

If there is only water below the set value in the drinking water tank 5, the float 16 provided in the end tank is in a lowered state around the pivot point, and the water supply port 29 is open, so water is supplied to the end tank 5. The water is sequentially sent to other tanks through the connecting pipe 7, and when the water supplied to the tank reaches the planned water level, the buoyancy of the float 16 causes the valve body 1 to

ある。 If there is garbage in the drinking water tank and it is necessary to clean it, close the opening valve 27 of the water supply pipe 13, remove the hose 24 from the latch 26, and remove the garbage from the drain port 23. It is discharged along with water. Once the cleaning is completed, the hose 24 is hung on the hook 26 via the hook 28, and then the valve 27 is opened to store water in the tank. When the water level in the tank reaches the planned water level, the water supply hole 29 is closed by the float 16, and since the tip of the hose 24 is above the planned water level, it does not function as a plug, and the tank water flows out from the hose. There isn't. Conventionally, the float valve in this type of drinking water tank is used only as a valve, but in the present invention, by creating a correlation between the maximum set water level of the water surface and the length of the hose when the water supply port is closed by the float valve, By giving the hose the function of a plug regardless of the height of the water level in the tank, and omitting the plug or on-off valve that was conventionally installed at the drain port, the problems of the conventional system can be solved.
In addition to automating water supply, draining and storing water can be done easily and quickly and efficiently by simply removing the hose from the tank or hooking it to the tank. It is also economical since there is no need to replace the hose depending on the height of the tank water level.
