を圧送し、上記シリンダの中間部に形成した弁収
容室内に、上記プランジヤの外側に嵌挿されこの
プランジヤとの間で周方向及び軸方向に相対的移
動可能な環状弁を収容し、この環状弁を上記プラ
ンジヤに対して相対的に回動変位させることによ
り該プランジヤの側面に開口されこのプランジヤ
の頂部を通じて上記シリンダ内のプランジヤ室と
導通された燃料吸入孔の開閉時期を変化させて燃
料噴射量を制御し、且つこの環状弁を上記プラン
ジヤに対し軸方向に変位させることにより上記燃
料吸入孔を開閉して燃料の噴射時期を変化させる
燃料噴射ポンプにおいて、 機関の高速高出力運転領域ではカム速度の上昇
域を使用し、低速低出力運転領域で噴射時期を遅
らせた場合にカム速度の一定または部分的に下降
する領域を使用し得るべくカムプロフイルを設定
